We booked with Vivamos Colombia Travel several excursions for the days we were going to be in Cartagena. We were looking for something different than usual, from beach or islands to visit and stumbled upon this tour. Our experience has been fabulous. If you are looking for something different than usual and more focused on culture or are looking to delve into folklore and craft fabrics from disadvantaged areas of Cartagena, this is your excursion. Of course, you have to know that you are going to a disadvantaged area, you will not find Cartagena "luxurious" with houses seen sea.You will find a town, which has suffered and has resisted thanks to the valuable culture they possess. A wonderful gift that you will take in your heart if you manage to integrate with them. If you venture to go, you will enjoy more if you integrate from the minute zero into the activities. They are divided or at least so I saw it in the musical part that characterizes the area and the textile part. If you get the addition of visiting the coffee factory you will get a complete experience. As advice we give you to dive from the moment you are picked up en route on the visit. Ask all the questions you can to understand the how and why of everything and above all create synergies with the guides and you will enjoy it much more. And carry cash! because you will fall in love with Mr. Rafael's maracas (it's too bad I can't carry the drum for my husband), Miss Olivia's bags and coffee beans. What coffee, what smell comes out of the coffee bag....!! Experience of 10- Eye! no one forces to buy anything, but you get to buy their crafts. They're worth a lot and very little. And you help those people who smile with only three possessions. The guide, the professional driver who adapt to any circumstance. I booked it directly with them and the agent who attended me Angela a professional with infinite patience and see that I asked him constant questions. Sign up for something different!
