  My family and I rented a hammock and kayak for a fun beach experience. These items were in great condition and were great entertainment for kids. The staff are also super friendly and helpful with questions.

  We intended to do a guided snorkeling trip, but all were booked up. Thankfully I came across their option of renting a kayak (we had our own snorkeling gear) on our own but nothing part of a tour. I figured we would just ask where to go, and do our own thing without a guide. It worked out great. The Reserve really just seems to be a protected beach area that doesn’t allow fishing. The Pirate rental business is a portable business that sets up on the beach each day, so the location is perfect.. We rented a kayak to do our own snorkeling without a guide, but the kayak wasn’t really necessary, unless you feel like paddling around for exercise or to cover more areas. Coral reefs with lots of tropical fish are easy swimming distance from shore and are marked with flotation buoys to help identify them. They carried the rental kayak down to the water for us, and took it back later when we returned to shore. Very convenient. The staff at the rental shack were very friendly, and spoke English well. We inquired about a place to get some food quickly before taking our rental kayak, and they instead generously gave us free sandwiches and bananas that were left over from a snorkeling cruise that just returned to shore. Wonderful way to spend a couple of hot afternoon ours in the water having fun. We then went a few miles to Luquillo beach for dinner afterward. Boardriders restaurant is away from the busier strip of restaurants, and has waves breaking with surfers and boogie boarders to watch. Or go to the main strip of restaurants and eat at La Parrilla or others all lined up next to each other.

  I scheduled the rental of two full-day 2-person kayaks over the phone. I pre-paid and they send me confirmation immediately and follow up emails and reminders...very professional. They helped me load them up and strap them down. They went above and beyond. I highly recommended them.

  My family has a wonderful experience with this vendor today. Hector made them feel welcomed and gave them information about the area. All the staff is very friendly. I can't recommend this enough. Please look them up along the street and choose them for your adventure. We were very happy. Super, super positive rating. +10!
