What To Expect
Jvari Church
Jvari is about 24 kilometers to the north of Tbilisi.The monastery was built on the site of a large wooden cross erected by Saint Nino in the early 4th century.
The Zhinvali Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River in Zhinvali, Georgia in the Caucasus Mountains. Despite its obviously artificial origins, reservoir blends in with the surrounding environment perfectly and delights visitors with its Turquoise waters. Enjoy the view of the reservoir from Ananuri Fortress, which is a popular tourist sight and for its stunning, panoramic views. Descending to the shores of reservoir you will notice ruins of church, belonged to an older settlement that was relocated out of the flooding area of the dam.

5.00I recently traveled to Georgia and I must say, it was one of the best travel experiences I've had. The country is absolutely beautiful with stunning landscapes, historic architecture, and a rich culture. I started my trip in the capital city of Tbilisi, which is a perfect blend of old and new. The Old Town is a maze of narrow streets and alleys, filled with traditional houses, churches, and charming cafes. The modern part of the city is equally impressive, with modern buildings, trendy restaurants, and wonderful bars.
