Dickson House Cultural Centre

A modest white building with blue trim, Beit Dickson was the home of former British political agent Colonel Harold Dickson and his wife, Violet, whose love of and contribution to Kuwait are documented in the various archives inside the house. Highlights include a collection of photographs taken during Kuwait’s British protectorate era, a replica museum of the Dicksons’ living quarters and an archive of Kuwaiti-British relations that dates from the 19th century to the 1960s when Kuwait became independent.

Mohammad was amazing! He really tailored the experience to us, and was very flexible and friendly! We loved getting to know him and Kuwait on our excursion. The company was also very communicative beforehand, which I really appreciated. Great experience if you have a day and want to learn more about Kuwait!

An unforgettable experience and city trip through all the most important attractions in Kuwait city. Our guide took us also outside to see camels in natural environment which was also great. I really recommend such trip and the guide for everyone who would like to get to know about the country, it’s history and citizens, learn about interesting and important facts and enjoy the beauty of Kuwait. Mr. Waleed has a professional knowledge and has all the information about Kuwait. He is a licensed Kuwaiti guide. During the tour he took all the major touristic sites of the Kuwait City and gave full explanation. He also answered all the questions. An excellent tour with more than just an overview of Kuwait city. Kuwait towers is fascinating with great stories. Grand Mosque is a gem! The real treat was the heritage market with a great introduction to this mammoth market. Highly recommend !!!

Did 3 tours with Waleed this year. All of them were great and can only recommend. On the last tour we did, we had to change the itinerary and Waleed was quick with ideas so we also did a part of Kuwait that is ussualy not visited. All in all i can only recommend.

Visited Kuwait with my wife and baby and we had a great day with the guide Waleed. He is very friendly and very professional and knows a lot about his city. His itinerary is perfect and yet he adjusted the day just to accommodate something for our daughter also who loves animals so he showed us some camels in the desert aswel as a pet shop within the city ! Perfect day and can't wait to see him again and spend a day to see more of Kuwait. Highly recommended.
