This was truly one of my highlights of my trip! I was hesitant to book at first, but it was so worth it and I got to see a completely different side of Vietnam. Our tour guide Stephen was informative and prompt from the very beginning and kept us laughing and engaged all day! Overall a great experience and would highly recommend! :)

The tour with Jerry was amazing! From climbing the 500 steps up the mountaintop and seeing the stunning view of Ninh Binh, to taking a scenic and peaceful boat ride through the Tam Coc river, and then having a FEAST of a meal for the provided lunch (which they also take very good care of if you are vegetarian), I felt so taken care of. and then riding through the streets of the local town to reach the temple nearby was so incredible and out of this world. For someone who is constantly in the city life and having their face glued to a screen for work, this kind of tour was exactly what I needed to appreciate the beauty of nature, life, family, and community. I felt like I learned more of my culture through this experience and I would love to do it again. Thank you so much Jerry!

Tom & Jerry were very communicative with us prior to the trip to tell us how to dress, what to bring, and what to expect so that we were prepared. They were very prompt on arrival, the car was super nice and spacious and even though it was a long trip, it was a relaxing one. From crazy steps and views, to relaxing rover rides, and adventurous bike rides, this experience had it all! Jerry always gave excellent information to tell us what to expect prior to each destination and provided good stories about the history and culture of the areas we were visiting. The food was super plentiful and delicious. Definitely bring extra cash to buy extras and to tip everyone. Such a long and plentiful day!

The experience was amazing! Jerry was very energetic, considerate, welcoming, and fun. From pick up to drop off, she kept a positive attitude and talked about the history of the land. Our favorite part of the trip was the boat ride tour, lunch along the river, and the bike ride tour the pagoda. It was a great active activity (bring sunscreen and bug spray!) for sight seeing and to learn about Ninh binh!

This was one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip to Vietnam. We had Jerry as our tour guide and she was awesome. Explained everything really patiently, made friends with the kids, waited for us when we needed time. It was warm but still pleasant. The boat ride in the river in particular was like you basically jumped inside Instagram and were living in it. Highly highly recommended.

The reason I gave this a 3 star review is totally based upon our guide. Leo was awesome! So funny, knowledgeable and patient. The activities in the tour itself were not overly exciting, the boat ride was long and uninteresting, we just did the ha giang loop so the lookout stair climb was similar to what we had already completed. The bike ride would have been very touristy if not for the fact that most of the others on our tour could not ride a bike very well and we had a few mishaps which were really funny! In all we enjoyed the day because of Leo, not the activities.

If you want to go to Ninh Binh then you absolutely must book with May, shes a native of the area and knows the place inside out. The information is delivered with such enthusiasm and a friendly smile. Shes so passionate about everything, telling us all about her family, her life growing up in Ninh Binh and every activity we did was filled with knowledge. We went as a family of 4, 2 teenagers who asked lots of questions and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The group is no more than 9 people, so it made it very personal. It was really good value for money, all tickets lunch and pick up, drop offs arranged. Communication both before and during the trip was seamless. Highly recommended May, Mr Safety our driver and this trip!
