  This tour is excellent value and covers a large amount of material (which can be tiring for seniors but the tour can be modified to suit). The sites mostly have their own guides and thus the driver should not be thought of a guide which raises expectations. The tour would take longer for those staying in the south part of the island.

  The tour operator - Tipik Tours - was not expecting me, claiming he never received my booking. Fortunately my hotel in Port Louis contacted him, and a driver was quickly organised - 2 hours after the appointed start time of 9am. This driver was not a qualified tour guide. The up-side is that he was very well-mannered, and took me to the places I had researched in advance, waiting patiently while I visited each of these - all in the North. He also took me to a few places not on the itinerary. Otherwise I would request a refund. This is the second time I have been "dropped" by a tour booked through Viator. The previous time was a guided tour of the Villa Borghese in Rome in October 2019. Why are the tour operators not receiving my bookings through Viator?!

  Very nice day with our driver, Vish, we were able to modify the program which was really very practical. Vish is very pleasant, punctual, very attentive, and above all good advice, we were able to discover the north of Mauritius without worrying about driving. A real pleasure.

  Really interesting and enjoyable day. We immediately agreed with the driver the program for the day. No problem, he was charming. We were able to spend several hours both in the grapefruit garden (memorable guided tour!) and at the Sugar Adventure.

  Excellent driver, who picked me up near my accomodation and kindly took me to a different accomodation at the end of the day. A really interesting variety of places, the garden is very relaxing and beautiful. I do recommend getting something at the tea factory, whilst it may seem expensive it is definitely worth it. Thoroughly recommend this.

  The driver was professional and pleasant. He drove us to all listed destinations safely (all of them are fabulous), gave some explanations, talked about Mauritus in general and even drove us through Grand Baie. It was only two of us so we could do everything in our own path and ask for some adjustments. Please note that to all places you go by yourself and driver is only waiting for you to pick up. But it’s not a problem because all attractions have their own employees to give you overview. Also it was really sweet that driver gave us lychee to try. I recommend this activity.

  Picked up on time from our hotel, our driver was very informative throughout and was happy to answer our questions. We never felt rushed in any of our visits and he drove very safely throughout our trip. Although the weather was awful, he always ensured that an umbrella was available to try and keep us dry . Highly recommend this trip, saw some beautiful and good variety of places. ++ Mosquito Repellent is a must !

  Beautiful tour, especially so Lindley (our driver) was more a travel companion and guide, very kind, professional and very nice. Of the 3 tours done so far I must say that it was the best, the tour lasts about 8h, the quality / price ratio spectacular, take into account to add about another 25 € per person for the various entrances to the museums (including all tastings).   We had a very nice day touring around the north of Mauritius. Our driver Lindley was very informative and a safe driver, and he waits for you while you go to the different sights. The only dissapointment during the day was the lunch.. the place we were taken to have lunch was obviously a real tourist trap with average food for sky-high prices. A meal for 2 people + 1 drink each for 45 euros.
