The relatively low altitude of the coastal hills allows the Pacific breeze to mingle with the Andean winds, which cools the valley and prolongs the maturation period of the region.

We depart at 08:00 hrs from your Hotel and drive to Los Maquis winery for tour + wine tasting of their Icon wines at 10:30 hrs. Accompanied by our team, you'll tour our vineyard and the banks of the Chimbarongo estuary, discovering firsthand the charm and freshness that make our wines so unique. Enjoy an exclusive tasting in our manor house, where you'll immerse yourself in the world of our most prestigious wines. Enjoy a glass of our refreshing Maquis Revela Rosé, followed by an elegant iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Calcu. - We'll head to enjoy lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, lead by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mellman, an expert hand on meats; a superb culinary experience. You'll have the option to choose a la carte and pay for your own lunch. We'll take care of booking a table for you. - Once we end the your lunch, we'll head towards Neyen winery.

5.00Excellent guide (Leo) that took care of all details. Super friendly and safe. This tour is really memorable because they selected fabulous wineries -Clos Apalta, Neyen and Maquis and the lunch was at the Fuegos restaurant which is amazing Highly recommended!!

His willingness to share his knowledge of not only wine, but Chilean current events and history was very much appreciated. 5.00Excellent experience. Rodrigo was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The wineries provided a good sampling of the Carmenere and Carmenere blends. Lunch at Monte was incredible and it is one of the top-rated wineries in the world. A very worthwhile trip for wine lovers.

5.00We had a great trip to the Colchagua Valley from Santiago with Leo. The communication with the Ecotours team was clear when one of the Vineyards wasn't available for our date. Leo was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about Chile and wine. I was traveling with my grandparents, so this was the perfect way to easily see the countryside without having to deal with logistics and planning. The vineyards were all absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to return!

5.00We had the best time on our private wine tour with our driver, Leo. He was punctual, professional, knowledgable, and genuinely kind. Leo knew so much about the history of Chile, which was helpful to us to understand more of the background than what we have already been told. We visited Clos de Apalta, Neyen, and Montes with lunch at Fuego de Apalta (a must!). The food was delicious. Overall, highly recommend Cristian and Leo for a private wine tour. Thanks for accommodating us!

5.00I normally don’t write reviews but had to for this one as the experience truly exceeded my expectations. Folks, please ask for Matthias as your tour guide for this private trip! His knowledge of Chilean wines, vineyards, and the history of the region is incredibly impressive. Matthias was not only informative, but he was also super prompt and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. It felt more like a conversation with a friend than a tour guide. If you're considering a wine tour, I highly recommend booking a private tour with Matthias—he’s truly the best!

Well versed with wine, history and culture he safely and comfortably to some of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited. Wines and lunch experience were excellent too. 5.00I came to a wine fair in Santiago and took the opportunity to look for alternatives to do a full day tour to some wineries. Looking for information I found the Ecotours team that both on their website and on Tripadvisor has the detailed and updated information. Booking the tour was easy and quick. The communication was 100% through electronic chorea which responded to me in a timely manner. It was even easy for me to make payment from outside through a payment link. Our private tour was conducted by Matías, an excellent tourism professional with whom we could talk about wines, national context and curiosities of the routes we traveled together from 9:00 to 21:00. I highly emphasize his kindness, sense of humor and great knowledge of multiple subjects. In this visit we met the Maturana and VIK wineries and had lunch at Fuegos de Apalta de la Bodega Montes. We move in a modern and safe vehicle. Everything was coordinated perfectly and we had a very nice day. I recommend this private tour that can be customized for those who know a lot or who know little about wines. Everything was top notch.
