Morning: Very well designed entertainment theme park that recreated a Sung Dynasty (1100 AD) town based on a famous Chinese painting Ching Ming Festival River Scene. All the buildings, bridges, and costumes were extensively researched and replicated. Afternoon: visited the Ting Lung Park which sits over an old imperial palace that is buried by the river soil left over from a flood. We were lucky to be there in early November during the annual Chrysanthemum festival with over one million flowers blooming at the same time. Afterwards, we went to the ancient city wall. Overall, an excellent trip to learn about history of a 3,000 year old city that was also the capital of 7 different dynasties. Our tour guide, Cindy (Ling) was very informative and took many good photos for us. It is worth a day trip when you are visiting Zhengzhou
