Nizwa Fort Oman
We depart Muscat to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the for is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. 5.00I’m sure that Ghusun is the most energetic and friendly guide that you can find in Oman 😆 The souks at Nizwa was a new experience and the hiking at Jebel Akhdar was really thrilling and awesome! Thank you for the good memories with my brother.

5.00Anyone visiting Oman ahould definitely visit here. Nizwafort is beautiful and so is the Souq, I liked it more than Mutthrah. The trip was great, the guide was very good - we visited some great spots and had great memories

3.00Would really give 3.5 stars because our driver was Ahmed and I need to credit him for being very responsible and punctual. However, he was unhygienic with the constant digging of his nose in the car, absolutely addicted to his phone. He was texting while driving the entire time, making me worried for my life while he drive in between two lanes. He was also not interested in showing us around, chatting with his friends and sitting to use his phone while we roam the places of interest. He was supposed to explain but he only did for a few spots and the rest were just 1-2 sentences before he went back to his phone. I felt that he was merely completing tasks rather than being a guide to us. Not a professional guide as he had no guide tag. Quite disappointed with the company as others rated it 5 stars. I tried to contact the company but they didn’t bother to reply. Perhaps you could check who is the guide before confirming the booking.

5.00We did two private tours with Fouzi at Sunshine Tours - day 1 at Wadi Shab and day 2 at Nizwa+Jabel Akhdar. Fauzi was very patient and knowledgeable, also humble and polite. We thoroughly enjoyed having him as our guide and driver through these two days. Would highly recommend.

5.00It was a great expierence with Yousef. He explained everything and was patient with us to for some extra minutes for taking fotos or buying gifts. When ever you have the chance, ask for Yousef as your guide.
