5.00David was knowledgeable and friendly, and he put me at ease from the moment I entered his spacious, clean and comfortable car. There were a number of different options available for doing the Beatrix Potter tour, Dave offers a private tour. There was no minimum number requirement for booking. Ok; it may have cost me more - but, I got to see what I was interested in. He stopped if I requested a photo stop. I didn't have to hang about waiting for my fellow travellers to idle back to the car. At the various locations we visited; he pointed out things of interest; he also had a collection of photos that he could show comparisons from previous times (I found this most interesting and helpful). It added another dimencion to the tour. David had an easy manner and I felt really relaxed in his company. I would 100% recommend David. He's been taking ppl around this area for over 20 years. He puts life into what came before. The scenery is spectacular. Well worth investing your time and ££ on his tour. Thanks David. It was a fantastic day.
Best Private Tour of Lake District with an Amazing Guide

5.00We had such a great time on the private tour. We left it mostly on David to figure out where to take us. He gave us a very rounded experience of the Lake District in 8 hours. We saw 7 lakes, Kirkstone Pass and a lot of points related to Wordsworth. He's so knowledgeable and even told us about a few apps to travel and gather info on flora and fauna. My dad was particularly happy with David's vast knowledge. He's so patient, kind and a genuinely good guy. He knows a lot of good and secret spots not frequented by tourists so we had the spots to ourselves mostly. Overall we had a great time.
All I can say is amazing that pretty much sums it up

5.00This was a fantastic tour and the highlight of a 2 week trip to the UK. David is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He customized my tour based on weather conditions and my personal preferences and we had a magical day touring the incredibly beautiful Lakes region. I also made a new friend in David. What a treasure he is! Thank you for a spectacular tour - I will tell all my friends and family to book this if they ever make the trip to this truly magnificent area.

5.00Wow, what a belter of a day. Te best thing we did was to book David from Brook Tours. We booked the all day private tour. We were a party of 4 - me, my wife and her parents. David picked us up on time having previously told us where we could park in Windermere without charge as we were staying in Kendall. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and David was the perfect host and guide. He is passionate about the area that he lives in and we had an informative and enjoyable day full of fun and facts. He is very knowledgeable about the area and took us to places that we would not have found on our own. We were blessed with great weather - September can be a bit hit and miss!! If you are new to the Lakes and want someone to show you the best of the area then David of Brook Tours is your man. You will not be disappointed. 5.00My wife and I just completed a private all-day tour of the Lake District with Mountain Goat Tours. Our guide, John S., could not have been better! He was full of information and enthusiasm for the entire area, having climbed most all of the mountains we saw. He was pleasant and an absolute font of information. 5 Stars all around. We enjoyed the day so much, we are already planning a return trip. Next time we hope to do a longer 2-3 stay in the area. Hopefully, John S. will be available again.

5.00David is a spectacular guide who is so friendly and funny. He's very accommodative too. My parents and I had a wonderful time going around the Lake District. The car was comfortable and we got very lucky with the weather as it was sunny when David drove us up to a fantastic view for photos. We also thank him a lot for introducing us to Grasmere Gingerbread - we went back the next day just to get more. Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommend David for a private tour of the Lake District!
