Guatapé has become one of the most important tourist cities in Colombia thanks to its beautiful reservoir and the so-called "Piedra del Peñol" this is a large rock mass 220 meters high that works as a magnificent natural viewpoint towards the reservoir. , in turn, the same municipality is classified as one of the most beautiful in the department of Antioquia thanks to its colorful streets and multicolored plinths that you can walk around after having climbed the stone.
With us you will be able to visit each of these attractions, get to know them and learn about the stories behind each one of them, travel in a very comfortable way and guided by a person who becomes another friend who tells you the history of our region. .

What To Expect
Medellin
We begin with the pick-up at the Hotel, Airbnb or place of preference of our travelers traveling in a private vehicle to the Replica del Viejo Peñol attraction. During this tour, travelers will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that the roads of Antioquia can provide. 2 hour travel time
Parque Tematico Replica del Viejo Penol
Our first stop will be in the old town of El Peñol, this town was evacuated and flooded to make way for the reservoir, there we will learn about the stories behind this process and everything that involved moving its inhabitants. The time in the attraction is 30 minutes + 10 minutes of travel to El Peñón de Guatapé

5.00Silvio picked up my family from the airport, dropped us off at the airport and everything in between (ATV tour, Guatapé, Comuna 13, coffee farm, etc.). He was on time, communicative and pleasant. We would not hesitate to recommend him! Nice new Mercedes van too.

5.00On the tour we saw the Nuevo Peñón, Guatapé and the stone; in addition to the coffee process. Beautiful places that you have to see if you are in Medellín. The stone has a spectacular view. The guide, Silvio, very friendly, attentive and with a lot of knowledge of Medellín.

5.00Silvio was an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and interesting guide and driver. His luxury mini van/SUV was super comfortable. Throughout the day he spent a lot of time explaining the history of both Colombia and the specific places we were visiting. We learnt so much ! . His cafe and restaurant recommendations were also great. This will count as one of the highlights of our Colombian adventure.
