What To Expect
Valle del Cocora
The Cocora Valley is one of the most stunning natural landscapes in Colombia and home to the wax palm, the national tree. During the visit, travelers will enter the palm forest, where they can walk among imposing palms that reach up to 60 meters high, surrounded by mountains and haze characteristic of the region. The experience includes a guided walk along nature trails, where you can appreciate the biodiversity of the area, cross small bridges and enjoy viewpoints with unique panoramic views. Salento

During the visit, travelers will be able to walk its charming streets, visit Calle Real, enjoy local craft shops and get to know the coffee culture of the region. You will also have the opportunity to climb the Alto de la Cruz viewpoint, from where you get a spectacular panoramic view of the mountain landscape. Tour operator and the tour guide both reached out in advance to make sure the introdce themselves and to accommodate our needs and plans. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and the driver was very good. We openly spoke to the tour guide and he accommodated all of our needs. The van was nice and three rows. We were very pleased with tour company and guide and driver.
