I travelled to the Gambia as part of a group of 25 women and had an amazing experience with the Black and White Safari Team. Our group was spread across three different hotels, but everything was organised seamlessly. We were picked up from our individual hotels each day, and the co-ordination was excellent, especially for such a large group. We had four full days of tours, all of which were well planned and very enjoyable. Black and White Safari also arranged a delicious lunch and refreshments for us during each tour, which was very well organised. One of the biggest highlights was our visit to Fatala, where we walked with lions and experienced the safari. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one we will never forget. We also visited Arch 22, Monkey Park, Crocodile Park, Serrekunda Market, and a local school, which gave us a wonderful insight into the culture and everyday life in The Gambia. Our trip to Kunta Kinteh Island was very powerful and emotional, and it added a meaningful historical element to our visit. Travelling as a group of 25 people across multiple hotels is not easy, but The Black and White Safari Team handled everything professionally and efficiently. They were always punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable, and they made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the week. We felt safe, well looked after, and able to fully enjoy the experience. I would highly recommend Black and White Safari to anyone visiting The Gambia. They helped create a memorable, meaningful, and enjoyable trip for all of us.

A group of twenty five ladies, of which I was the matriarch of the group and the rebel. Out trips were pre arranged by Marcia with Black and White tour operator, owned by Armstrong with Ibrahim the driver, lamin the manager and Sophie the assistance. What a wonderful team, you could not have asked for better. Lamin was so precise in getting us where we needed to be. The boat trips to Senegal was an experience in itself but one not to be missed. Walking with lions was the highlight for me along with meeting the local children. All 25 of us had an experience from start to finished,a memory that is once in a life time. Thank you to the Black and white team, and to Marcia for organising the whole thing.

A group of 25 ladies from UK had fantastic week with Armstrong and his crew. We were in The Gambia for a week and we spent 4 full days with Black and White Safari. They organised several trips in the week...and unforgettable experience with 20 of us walking with the lions with Armstrong at Fatahla in Senegal .Well done to this Gambian company...they were on time, organised everything, took us to see the real Gambia with the children and villagers and also gives back to the community. If you want a job well done and an Unforgettable experience, book with this company 100%

So I was part of the girls group which consisted of 25 ladies. We used this tour guide for all our tours which we had pre booked and they didn't disappoint. It was hard for them to manage 25 of us at times as we didn't always listen or follow instructions and I'm sure they regretted being out guides at times 😂 but Armstrong was a lot more relaxed than Lamin but I think that was down to him trying to impress his boss and showing that he was in control when in fact we were in control of ourselves 😆. But jokes aside they really looked after us, and always made sure we stayed as much together as possible, they told us when to keep our bags secure and to watch out for pick pocketers whilst at the Serkunda market. We packed loads in and what they offered was more than our expectations could have imagined. I would definitely recommend this tour guide to anyone and try to see more of Gambia and not just the tourist side which I must say was an eye opener in itself. Keep up the good work guys and big up Sofia the only female in the team. Thank you to the drivers who chauffeured us around every day, safely. Thank you Lamin (follow me, can I have your attention, this is important information) 😆😂🤣😅 if you know, you know. And without you Armstrong there is no company, so thank you. P.s. I hope you weren't too harsh on the driver who forgot to put the handbrake on 🤦🏽. We miss you guys ❤️

From our hotel we were picked up with a big keep. We were taken to the port of Banjul and with a large ferry we were taken to Barra. Take the yellow book with you with vaccinations! Then by bus from Barra to customs to check out from Gambia to Senegal. The safari was magnificent, only the lion influence their hunting instincts were transferred. We got good information from the guide of the safari! Then back to customs 2x (first Senegal and then Gambia) If you don't have a yellow book, you will cost that money on the spot.....

Really enjoyed the trip from start to finish the safari was a bit of a let down as you only see Giraffe Buffalo Zebra Antilope plus the only Rhino in the Park but don't let that put you off as the walking with lions was Amazing great experience from Start to finish

We (couple + 1 other guest) went on the full day safari to Senegal with our wonderful tour guide Mohamed, who kept us safe and organized during the trip across the river and on the border, so we could enjoy every minute. In the safari park, we drove around in Black and White Safari's own pickup with a private park ranger, while other tourist groups were squeezed into big busses. The lunch place was a restaurant along the road. We came back to Banjul in time for dinner and had an overall excellent day!

The manager Armstrong and his team were excellent throughout with good communications and excellent support...the driver and guide (Sophie) provided for the trip were very engaging, friendly and helpful...there was a slight hiccup on the Senegalese border with my Yellow Fever cerftificate but the driver and guide sorted this out with the authorities, and on we went. Trip size was perfect (3 people) and the whole experience great fun, particularly the somewhat wonderfully chaotic Barra ferry and the safari/lion walk. B&W office is very handily located for the Kairaba and Sennegambia Beach Hotels. I thoroughly recommend B&W Safari for anyone thinking about booking a trip, and I look forward to seeing the team again when I return to The Gambia.
