There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market Monday to Saturday.

The boat for Nadi and Denarau area customers departs Port Denarau at 9.00am and returns to Denarau at 6.00pm.
The boat for Coral Coast area customers departs Port Denarau at 10.00am and returns to Denarau at 5.00pm
In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and the Subsea Adventure in our semi-submersible.
Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!

It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Discover the underwater world with hours of snorkelling or if you want to stay dry, jump on board the semi-submersible coral viewer. Make sure you keep an eye out for Nemo! A tasty BBQ buffet lunch and beer, wine and soft drinks are included while ashore. Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market Monday to Saturday. Introductory diving (additional cost) is a particular focus on this island with pretty reef formations and plentiful fish making it a first time diver's dream. Start in the pool and then explore the stunning coral gardens and the fish life surrounding the island on a 'Discover Scuba' intro dive. There is also plenty to keep certified divers amused, with several beach dives and a purposefully sunk shipwreck. Diving in this area you can encounter drop offs and wall dives with lots of hard corals, crystal clear water & large schools of pelagic fish.

5.00We booked a full day tour from Nadi to South Sea Island. Sadly on our trip it rained. However, it is the experience that counts and the boat sail to South Sea Island went by Malamala Island first. Smaller boats took us from the boat that brought us to the island. The sun came and went. The lunch was extraordinary and plentiful for all who were in attendance. Even seconds given for some. The drinks were never ending. As with anywhere else in Fiji, the people are very welcoming and friendly. Could not do enough. For some visitors who appeared to be in greater need of attention, the locals were too obliging. My only recommendation to South Sea Cruises is not play loud music on the island. I am thinking most of the visitors do not live near the sea with the sounds of waves and the wind through the trees. The loud music takes that experience away. Would I recommend this tour? Absolutely.

5.00From the start of booking to the tour and then back to resort this experience was hassle free. Communication was on point, the transfers to and from resort was so easy and on time. They communicated with us for pick up times and showed up bang on time. Such a smooth tour. South sea island tour was 100% perfect beautiful island beautiful people faultless trip. Awesome communication on the island. Food was awesome, endless drink menu all day we did the full day tour. The staff 100% amazing and so kind. So many activities to do. Highly recommend this tour with South Sea Cruises 💯

5.00Amazing experience! Everything was well planned and organised, especially as we were staying at the coral coast which is a bit further away than other resorts. The snorkelling was unbelievable! We saw so many different types of fish, coral and saw turtles! The lunch buffet was delicious. All the staff were welcoming. The marine biologists that took us on our snorkelling trip were funny and very informative. A great day trip!

2.00As a big family group we were unimpressed with the day. We thought there was supposed to be a Fijian Meke performance at lunchtime. We arrived on the island and a very short time later lunch was served. Good food but the timing wasn’t great.

5.00There was so much to do for ourselves and the children, swimming, kayaking, snorkelling and just chilling under a tree on a comfy lounge. The lunch was lovely with fresh salads, fruit and tasty chicken, sausages and a fish curry. Even enjoyed a relaxing massage which was reasonably priced. The boat trip was great in air conditioning and comfortable seats. Overall experience was absolutely great.

4.00It’s good for family and kids as well couples. For a single person, it doesn’t become difficult to mingle with everyone. Next time , I would come with a friend.
