For lots of fun under the sun, you can't beat a day at South Sea Island. Approx 30 minute ferry ride from Port Denarau.
It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Discover the underwater world with hours of snorkelling or jump on board the semi-submersible coral viewer.
A tasty BBQ buffet lunch, beer, wine and soft drinks are included while ashore.
Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market Monday to Saturday.

Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby or pick up location 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time
If you do not require pick up, please find your own way to the meeting point - Passenger Terminal, Denarau Marina
The boat for Nadi and Denarau area customers departs Port Denarau at 9.00am and returns to Denarau at 6.00pm.
The boat for Coral Coast area customers departs Port Denarau at 10.00am and returns to Denarau at 5.00pm
In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and the Subsea Adventure in our semi-submersible.
Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!

For lots of fun under the sun, you can't beat a day at South Sea Island. A day trip to South Sea Island is an easy 30 minute ferry ride from Denarau Marina with South Sea Cruises. It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and FREE use of non-motorized water sports equipment, including kayaking and sailing. Discover the underwater world with hours of snorkelling or if you want to stay dry, jump on board the semi-submersible coral viewer. Make sure you keep an eye out for Nemo! A tasty BBQ buffet lunch and beer, wine and soft drinks are included while ashore. Although the island is uninhabited, you can still get a taste of Fijian culture with a traditional Meke performance and craft market Monday to Saturday. Introductory diving (additional cost) is a particular focus on this island with pretty reef formations and plentiful fish making it a first time diver's dream. Start in the pool and then explore the stunning coral gardens and the fish life surrounding the island on a 'Discover Scuba' intro dive. There is also plenty to keep certified divers amused, with several beach dives and a purposefully sunk shipwreck. Diving in this area you can encounter drop offs and wall dives with lots of hard corals, crystal clear water & large schools of pelagic fish.

5.00Amazing experience! Everything was well planned and organised, especially as we were staying at the coral coast which is a bit further away than other resorts. The snorkelling was unbelievable! We saw so many different types of fish, coral and saw turtles! The lunch buffet was delicious. All the staff were welcoming. The marine biologists that took us on our snorkelling trip were funny and very informative. A great day trip!

2.00As a big family group we were unimpressed with the day. We thought there was supposed to be a Fijian Meke performance at lunchtime. We arrived on the island and a very short time later lunch was served. Good food but the timing wasn’t great.

5.00There was so much to do for ourselves and the children, swimming, kayaking, snorkelling and just chilling under a tree on a comfy lounge. The lunch was lovely with fresh salads, fruit and tasty chicken, sausages and a fish curry. Even enjoyed a relaxing massage which was reasonably priced. The boat trip was great in air conditioning and comfortable seats. Overall experience was absolutely great.

5.00TripAdvisor you need some serious help with your booking system as 5 times while attempting to book our day trip the site crashed,and consequently booked our trip twice and the helpline was of no use at all after over half an hour on the phone and unable to give any information at all so went to the south seas booking kiosk the next day at the port who sorted it in 2 minutes…. Then try to get a refund from tripadeal another 40 minutes or so on line but all was eventually solved but not looking forward to my phone bill this month However the island,The amenities the entertainment the staff the food and drinks could not be classed as five star it had to be 10 star

5.00An awesome place for a day of Snorkeling and a day at a beach. I was only in Fiji for 1.5 days and this full day of activities sounded like a plus for me. We were taken to the outer reef for a guided Snorkel trip as well as beautiful coral growth view was available off the beach. Cultural show was presented while we enjoyed a delightful BBQ lunch.
