Reception at 07:00 am to start the tour of the El Chiflón Waterfalls where we will reach a 180 meters high waterfall, known as “Velo de Novia” transfer and tour to know the multicolored Lakes of Montebello, crystal clear bodies of water surrounded by pine forest and oaks. Return to Tuxtla Gutierrez.

What To Expect
Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello
In the National Park itself there are the Esmeralda, La Encantada, Bosque Azul, Ensueño and Agua Tinta lakes, surrounded by pine forests. It is considered one of the most beautiful natural sites in Mexico.
Cascada El Chiflon
They form natural pools of intense turquoise blue waters, framed by vast vegetation that forms a tree curtain and landscapes that stand out for their reed beds and palm groves. There other beautiful waterfalls have their origin such as: El Suspiro, Ala de Ángel and Velo de Novia, the latter being the most impressive due to its fall from 70 meters in height.

5.00Amazing trip! The first stop is the waterfall that is incredible, your tour guide takes lots of photos and allows you to go into the water! You can also zip line down the waterfall for an extra charge. The mango michelladas are a must! The lake sells really good authentic food and I highly recommend taking the wooden boat tour to the center island and jump off! We were able to stop by the Guatemala border before heading back to San Cristobal.
