Discovery of all landscapes of Sao Vicente with its beautiful beaches and volcanoes.
You start at 9:30 with a walking tour at Mindelo – the capital of the island (and cultural capital of the country), followed by a visit to Monte Verde, the highest peak of São Vicente to admire the beautiful panoramic view.
Then, you will get to know the Salamansa beach.
Afterwards we arrive at Baias das Gatas known for its famous music festival and its natural swimming pool.
Later, you will discover the hidden extinct volcanoes, overlooking the neighboring island of Santa Luzia and a large white sand beach, called "Praia Grande".
On the way back to your hotel, you will see the green valley of Madeiral with its typical agriculture (banana, papaya, dates, sugar cane, etc)

What To Expect
Mindelo
At 9.30am you will be picked up at your hotel at Mindelo. Afterwards you will go to city center and do your first walking tour. Mindelo has beautiful colonial architecture, having rich history connected to British army and international trade from 18th till 21st century. Afterwards, you visit the markets and Cesaria Evora Museum and many other attractions.
Monte Verde
Monte Verde is the highest peak of São Vicente, where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view.

4.00Nice trip! We've seen interesting places. Only the bay where we stopped for swimming resembled a “bathtub” ... shallow, warm, extremely calm water. It was still interesting. The guide was great. Lunch perfectly fine.

3.00Kaio is a very nice person but does not provide a lot of information as I expect from a guide. Only the persons in front two rows can hear him and the rest of us are clueless. The tour organizers don’t communicate well prior to the tour so you don’t get a lot of confidence. Pickup was smooth but again, not with a lot of info other than “wait there”. There is not much to see on the island

5.00Pickup at Port as arranged, lovely clean and comfortable van, great look around and Caio Neves ( our driver guide) was thoughtful, informative and knowledgeable ensuring our trip was a great day. We left Cape Verde with a much improved knowledge of the area and it's people. Great Crepes and lunch thank you. We definitely recommend this trip and our guide [email protected] booked through Viator Only recommendation is for Caio to have a headset and mic so those in back of van can hear his commentary

3.00The tour was okay, but the price offered by TripAdvisor is way too high. There were people who had booked directly and who had paid almost twice as much! So wait until you are there and ask your hotel for example, or send a message to the organizer.
