At this time we will be arriving at the center of Santiago Tuxtla where we will know the largest Olmec head in the south of the state, we will also be able to appreciate the Parish of Santiago Apóstol built in 1890.

The excursion was super nice. We first stopped in the village of Santiago Tuxla before going to see the gigantic and impressive El Salto waterfall. Then we took the boat on Lake Catemaco to see the monkeys (we saw 2-3). We ended this tour with an excellent meal in a restaurant specializing in fish (not included in the price). Remember to take into account the travel time which is quite long between each stage (2h30 on the way and 3h30 on the return). Our excursion lasted from 8 am to 9 pm of which about 7h of transport by van in all.

The whole tour was very nice from the driver don Chema who is soaked with a lot of knowledge and throughout the way he explained everything he could, and his attention was excellent, in the tuxtla and the Catemaco was great the walk in both parts, I highly recommend it

The group we had was wonderful. Within an hour we were all laughing and sharing. The guide Martín was very friendly and fun and super punctual. Martín stopped the truck just so I could take photos and I didn't ask him, he did it because he always felt very cordial and close, familiar. Catemaco Lake is spectacular! Get ready to take a lot of photos! And to top off the experience, they took us to a restaurant to eat delicious food. An experience that I promise myself I will repeat again.
