Ahmed was our guide for a full day tour of Luxor’s West Bank and because we loved him as a guide, we booked him directly for the next day for a tour of the East Bank. We did the tour in English, this speaks Ahmed very well. He told us a lot about the history of Egypt and Luxor in particular and had an answer to every question. In addition, he gave us many good tips on where to eat well. We learned a lot and would book a tour with him again anytime!

Ahmed is polite, knowledge and was able to guide us to the must sees and flexible on adapting to our interests. Our day started early, arou d 7 am, and let's say after 36 + degree in July heat we were spent by 2 pm We stopped for some falafels in morning on the way to valley of kings. The valley of kings was impressive, the highlight. Ahmed provide context to what we were going to see which made the experience all the better. Lunch was excellent. It was at a home / restaurant where the mom cooks for you and the dinning area is on the roof. We split one chicken meal, it was sufficient given how spent we where from the heat. It came with several items. Extra, not part of trip. At the way back to our apartment, Ahmed took us to a local produce store where we purchased excellent fruit and drinks. No tourist pricing. The cantaloupe, figs, orange 🧡 The taxi was small and old, but the AC worked, which is quite important. A cold shower and fruit completed a great day.

The day with Ahmed was incredible. Ahmed speaks very good English, and he is very easy to understand. We did the East and West tour of Luxor, from 7am to 5:30pm. He was able to answer all our questions about Egypt and history, he was very interesting and knowledgeable about Egyptology. At noon, we had the honor of eating with his family, it was one of our best moments in Egypt. Very kind, the food was delicious and his family adorable. Special mention to the driver, very kind and available too. We did not have time to have breakfast and he bought us a good typical Egyptian breakfast. When we were hot, Ahmed bought us ice cream. He was very kind, funny, available, proud of Egypt and interesting. I can only advise you to take Ahmed as a guide. The tour was very complete, we saw everything in Luxor, and the different monuments.

We really enjoyed our tour with Ahmed. He is engaging, knowledgeable and friendly - all the qualities you need in a good guide. We learned a lot. Ahmed adjusted the tour to suit our requirements as it was just my wife and I. The minivan was like new and the driver, Sherif, was courteous and careful. Highly recommend taking a tour with Hello Egypt Tours.
