Thank you to Geotours for giving me the opportunity to know magical places such as Cerro Azul and the Raudal del Guayabero in San José del Guaviare-Colombia; it was an unforgettable experience to connect with the beauty of its landscapes, nature and get closer to know the ancestrality of its powerful and enigmatic cave paintings that are considered world heritage.

An amazing experience! Nature over there is super cute. The people at Geotour are wonderful. The guides know a lot of things and share everything with pleasure. They also work with locals and that's super chevere. The food during the tour is delicious. Do not hesitate and book because it is worth visiting!!

The Natural Bridges – The Black Lagoon. The Black Lagoon has an area of 900,000 m2 and its name obeys its dark, almost black color, which, it is said in the area is due to the number of guios (The guios are boas constrictors, non-venomous snakes that belong to one of the most primitive families of snakes, the “boidos”). Guides feed mainly on rodents and some birds. (The history of the black color due to the guides at the bottom of the lagoon is part of the legends that weaves the appeal of the jungles.) But, really, that black color is due to the dry leaves accumulated at the bottom of the lagoon, a phenomenon that is also observed in rivers of the Amazon rainforest, such as the Amacayacu, a tributary of the Amazon River.

This tour was the best tour I have been on! The experience was beyond my expectations. It was more than just a view of Cerro Azul! I did not expect going into a cave and meeting people with amazing stories about their lives and culture. It was awesome!!! The ride along the way had spectacular views and I recommend sitting in the back of the truck for the experience. Breakfast and lunch were provided with the package and they were hosted at a homestyle lodge and farm. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the home cooked meals were delicious! Our guides were Miller, Jose and Janet and they were so nice and kept us entertained the entire day. I recommend bringing a headlamp and hand sanitizer for the cave. I brought a backpack with a rain jacket, water and bug spray. For the truck ride, I wore sunglasses to prevent bugs from hitting my eye :) There are not enough words for me to describe how much fun I had on this tour ! I recommend GeoTours 100%!!
