Your safari adventure starts with an early morning hotel pick-up in Zanzibar for your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park. Once there, enjoy an exciting game drive in a 4×4 vehicle, guided by an expert, as you search for the Big Four – lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards – across the savannah.

After lunch, continue your adventure with a second game drive in an open-sided 4WD. Traverse Mikumi's varied landscapes, from acacia woodlands to floodplains, while spotting elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and numerous bird species.

Finally, take a brief game drive to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar, where you'll be transferred back to your hotel.

We had an amazing experience with Ocean Blue! We booked four different tours: a snorkeling tour, quad tour, dolphin tour, and safari. Everything was very well organized, and we always felt that everything was taken care of from start to finish. The pickup times were on point, and each tour exceeded our expectations in its own way. The guides were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the experiences both fun and safe. We can honestly say that every tour was worth it, and Ocean Blue played a big role in making our holiday unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Zanzibar and wanting high-quality experiences.

We booked a last minute one day safari, and if I’m perfectly honest I was worried a day wouldn’t be enough. But it absolutely was. We saw lions - we were so close we could have reached out and pet them (but obviously we didn’t), and elephants and wild beasts and warthogs and giraffes and zebras and so much more … and we saw all of that before lunch time. I cannot recommend this enough - truly an incredible experience and amazingly we were back at the hotel by 6pm.

This trip was so unique! Loved it since the beginning and the plane experience? It was amazing! We were so lucky to see baby lions with mom and lots of other animals (elephants, giraffes, monkeys) we had a great lunch and everything was perfect. Thank you!!
