Cross the desert dunes by 4WD vehicle, and experience the adrenaline rush of driving across the rugged terrain in an off-road mode of transport. Make your way to the Wahiba Sands to see the traditional homes of the desert nomads and Bedouin tribes. Keep a look-out for the nomads as they move through the desert with their camels. Visit a Bedouin home in the middle of the desert, and contrast the arid landscape with the clear, blue waters of Wadi Bani Khalid. Enjoy a relaxing siesta in the shade of the palm trees, and catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered across the slopes of the wadi. Marvel at how the houses cling precariously to the rugged mountain side. Bring your swimming costume to take a dip in the inviting waters!

I had a great time joining this tour, group was small, our tour guide went above and beyond. Everything he told us added to the places I want to visit and things I want to experience in Oman so I will have to come back. Thank you and see you soon

We had an amazing tour guide whose name was Mohammed Al Riyami. He was hospitable and made us feel really comfortable. We had a long drive to the Wadi but it was comfortable with enough rest breaks in between with him providing snacks and drinks for us. When we arrived at the Wadi we had plenty of time to go around and swim if we wanted to. We then went to the dessert and met a Bedouin family where we were able to ride and camel and buy traditionaI Omani gifts. We then headed back to Muscat with Mohammed once again being a gracious host and offering us tea. He made the experience 10 times better because he had authentic stories about his family and childhood and was very knowledgeable in regards to the history of Oman which was great!

Excellent tour. The drive take about 2 hours each way but it's worth doing in my opinion. The wadi and natural pool is stunning, and watching the sun set over the desert was also a beautiful experience. Friendly driver and professional tour company.

We had Abdallah as our guide to the stunning Wadi Bin Khalid and the desert. From the very start of our tour, Abdallah was warm, welcoming and an amazingly informative and university educated guide. Whenever it was appropriate, he gladly offered insightful and interesting information regarding our natural surroundings, but also Oman’s culture and history. The day was well scheduled but relaxed throughout and his professional driving skills across the dunes at the end of the day were much appreciated. Our tour with Abdallah was very enjoyable from driving to the Wadi in the morning through to watching the sunset in the desert in the evening and the nice drive home. We can only recommend him as an entertaining and truly expert guide!
