Picked up from out hotel on time. Water taxi in motorized canoe to the kayak launch site. Enjoyable paddling on the river. Then a short adventurous walk to the waterfall. Don’t miss swimming to the fall and feeling the force of the fall on your back. Need to be able to swim against the current for a short distance, a nice challenge. After that boat ride to the village for lunch, fresh talapia and fruit. Very enjoyable outing. Highly recommend it.

We enjoyed this cultural experience and meeting members of the tribe. The food was fantastic and the fish fresh. We recommend the kayaking as it added another dimension to the experience.

We went on this adventure with Alcy our amazing tour guide. From the moment we were picked up from the hotel I knew this was going to be a fun day. We picked up our small group of 6 and made our way out of the city. The car was clean and well maintained. We then got to the start of our river adventure and climbed into a boat which took us to the start of the kayak experience. It was so much fun! The waterfall is incredible! Lunch at the village was very tasty as well.

Enjoyed the different layers of the tour. Started out easy, riding the canoe on the river. Next, it intensified kayaking ( need to be in moderate shape). Thirdly, we hiked to the waterfalls which was paradise on earth. Finally we experienced the indigenous people. Learned the culture, ate amazing fish, and danced together.

Had an amazing experience with the rainforest tour with our engaging tour guide who offered to take photos with my phone of our waterfall climb and kayaking experience. The kayaking allowed some up close stops while heading to the falls. There was a lot of rain prior which made the waterfall heavy and climb difficult, but it is worth the photos! This was definitely the hi-light of our tour. The Embera tribe were welcoming with the fresh fruits and a native lunch before their tribal dance performance followed by the option to purchase handmade crafts (be sure to bring cash if you hope to purchase souvenirs). Defiantly a must do activity if visiting Panama if you don't mind driving an hour out of the city.

Our host guide - Dan could not have been more kind, polite and informative. He made our journey comfortable and enjoyable. He went out of his way to add valuable insights and history of Panama and its diverse cultures and climate. He also took great care making we were safe and comfortable. He took several great photos that he shared at the end of the trip! I will recommend him to anyone who is planning a trip to Panama!! Thank you Captain Dan!
