Had a great time exploring the countryside around Battambang in a tuktuk! It was really interesting to see all the different ways the people use rice, and to watch them work. I was happy to try the freshest most delicious spring rolls I’ve ever had.

I had the best day! I started the morning with a private tour and Samol made sure to give me the best morning ever! We visited a Rice noodle factory, rice paper factory and a rice wine factory where I got to try them all! He then took me to a few gorgeous temples and Buddha’s and we visited the genocide pagoda. Samol made sure I got all the relevant information whilst keeping it fun and lighthearted aswell! The afternoon was just as fun as I was joined by another traveller where we did the Battambang statue and learnt about his story, the bamboo train (which is hilarious btw). Stopping for lunch at Samols favourite food stop where we ate delicious food! Before heading to the killing caves and the bat caves! Don’t forget to try the BBQ rat I was pleasantly surprised!!! Overall had the best day definitely worth doing Samol was a great tour guide and was so great to be around too Thankyou

Samol is a dude, loves to try his Aussie accent mate. Great English and is very proud of his city and country which shows. His talk of the history and then the terrible Pol Po period before going into the killing caves was excellent. It was only me so he wouldn't have made much money so i tipped decent in my appreciation for the individual tour. Could not rage him higher.

I had to book this tour with Samol after doing a half-day tour with him the prior day. A whole different vibe, I could explore the process a different rice based foods, rice noodles, rice paper, rice wine, and sticky rice bamboo (which I loved). While doing it you're also supporting local families. We visited a few temples as well and Samol explained to me different symbolisms and stories of Buddhism. It was a great way to spend the morning

We had a great day with Samol. He welcomed us as a friend and showed us his city of Battambang and the surrounding area. He enjoys his job so much, you can tell and you benefit from it in equal measure. We had lots of exciting insights into the lives of the locals and he also showed us lots of great things in nature (various fruit trees, animals and agriculture) We would recommend everyone to take a tour with Samol ♥️ he also adapts it to his guests individually. Speaks great English!
