The beginning of our tour, after leaving Vienna early morning, will be a visit to MELK ABBEY CHURCH, located in the beginning of Danube valley. Your very charming, friendly driver will bring you there in a luxury vehicle.
Melk abbey is a masterpiece of baroque architecture.
Next will be Lake region.

5.00Worth every penny and then some. Our guide, Max, was professional, funny, knowledgeable and seemingly loves his job. This was not just a tour, it was an experience. I am so very glad we booked this tour and so very grateful the universe sent us Max for our guide.

5.00We had two different tours with Max - one for Salzburg and one in Vienna Woods. Despite the weather Max did the best to make us comfortable. He was engaging, connected well to the teenagers, ensuring that everyone enjoyed and partook in the history of Vienna and Austria. Max also even brought us jackets and hats as the weather caught us by surprise. He was incredibly careful with driving and his love for history made the rides engaging. He made sure we had the very best experience and we will definitely be back as a family both to Vienna and with Max and his family. Thank you for everything!

5.00This tour was fabulous from beginning to end. Max, our tour guide, was accomodating, well prepared with umbrellas and rain jackets (the weather was not the best when we started the day) and very knowledgable and passionate about the history of Vienna and each place we went! Melk abbey, salzburg, and Halstatt were all so enjoyable. We were guided to some hidden gems that we would not have found ourselves. The car was very comfy for a full day trip. Well worth it! Thank you for a wonderful tour!

5.00We travel a lot, and are always taking tours while travelling abroad, the Weinguide Private Tours is one of the best if you want to experience the most of Austria lake region, Halstatt and Salzburg. Our tour guide Max impressed us with his warm and caring personality and knowledge of the history, provided us with the restaurant and Austrian food recommendations. We felt we were travelling with a friend we’ve known forever!

5.00The other reviews you’ve read are all accurate! This tour was wonderful. We had Max, Peter’s son, as our tour guide and he was everything you could hope for in a guide — gracious, charming, patient, and knowledgeable. He wanted to know what we wanted to see and adjusted the trip when he could. We saw beautiful Melk Abbey, the incredible lake region of Hallstatt, and walked the streets of Salzburg. I really chose the tour because of Salzburg, but the other stops were just as enchanting. Max made sure we understood the historical significance as well as the culture of each point of interest, and he did so with humor and humility. I think he was the best tour guide we’ve had in our travels, and we’ve had some wonderful tours in our three trips to Europe over the last two years. I’m so glad we found this tour! I’m sure any tour offered by this company will be wonderful! It’s a family business and they take pride in what they do.

5.00We took several private tours with Peter, in Vienna and outside (Salzburg/Hallstatt, Wachau Valley). Peter's knowledge and enthusiasm about Austria and its history are exceptional, our entire family of five had a great five days with him. Peter's experience as a guide shows in many ways, big and small, he knows what to see and how to see it. He also has a new great Mercedes minivan (air conditioned) which made the tours very comfortable in the heat of July 2019.
