Feel the pulse of Nassau on our approximately 3-hour cultural and culinary adventure of the island. Your driver will chauffeur you in our custom open-air, stretched, rugged Jeep Wranglers as you experience the real Nassau!

Discover Nassau first hand as we take you on a journey of the culture, beauty, and history of the capital of The Bahamas. View historic forts, visit the Queen's Staircase and the water tower. Enjoy the color and rhythmic thrill of Junkanoo, the cultural festival of The Bahamas as you partake in our interactive Junkanoo experience. Discover Tasty Teas — a charming local tea shop — and visit the John Watling's Distillery for a chance to experience the flavors of the island. After several hours of exploring you will have worked up an appetite, so it's off to the Drifters at Da' Fish Fry for an authentic Taste of The Bahamas and native food tasters.

Nassau Jeep Adventures

Discover Nassau first hand as we take you on an approximately 3 hour journey of the culture, beauty, and history of the capital of The Bahamas. The Funky Nassau Tour is an all-inclusive adventure which consists of a native lunch, unlimited ice-cold water and admission to all attractions and activities. Featured stops and experiences include:

Queen's Staircase

Historic Sites: Get a panoramic view of the City of Nassau and walk down the Queen's Staircase, which was hewn out of solid limestone rock. Visit the historical Fort Fincastle which was constructed during the 18th century. **IMPORTANT: This stop is currently under renovations** As this stop is currently closed, guests are not able to walk the staircase. Instead, your driver will provide a history of the staircase as well as a short drive-by view. Also, as an alternative, guests will be taken to the Graycliff Chocolate Factory.

This tour is a fun way to experience some of the Bahamian culture with tasty samplings of teas, chocolate and various home grown alcohols. The guide provides historical tidbits as you make your way around the downtown Nassau area. A fun, hands on overview of the history and cultural significance of Junkanoo and finally a yummy lunch at Fish Fry tops off the tour. Our tour guide was superb!

The team is very pleasent. But there is Only 2 stops that give more Nassau spirits. The rest are local shops. Tea store, chocolate store. You don't get to see many many many amazing things. I would skip the whole thing. Plan your own and get ATV. Waste of time and money. Driver was nice.

We had a nice time on this tour. Our tour guide, Eric was great and did a nice job of sharing a plethora of knowledge of the island with us. The tour felt a bit rushed towards the end due to the cruise ship passengers needing to get back to the boat, but Eric made it up to us and took us to two additional spots, so that made up for it. He also took pictures of us, which was nice. I would recommend this tour.

Initially Viator had contacted me about canceling his tour due to lack of seats sold on the tour. But then there was no time for us to reschedule, they went ahead and took us on the tour. It was an amazing experience. Eric, our driver was a native to the island and had wonderful insights and information about the island. Eric went above and beyond for us on this tour, taking pictures for us that we wanted, and he even ventured out and bought a mango for me because I mentioned I wanted to try one. Such a great tour guide!

We had a fantastic time on the Jeep tour, largely thanks to Leon's exceptional guidance. His constant stream of engaging fun facts elevated the entire experience. We were super happy with the tour as we got to make a lot of stops. Note: Get the man a working radio! Even with radio issues Leon was able to use his outdoor voice to communicate with the group. He's a champ!

First, we liked our driver a LOT. He was pleasant and a safe. However… all stops on the “tour” except the Junkanoo Museum are at local businesses seeking to sell. Stores include a rum distillery, rum cakes, tea, tchotchkes, and candy, followed by a small, fast, local meal of fried stuff. The only history shared was at the Museum, there was no adventure, and the entire tour route stayed within a few miles of the cruise ship quay. My advice: Save your money or book a different excursion.

We had 6 people in our funky jeep tour. We had quite a few stops along with lunch. make sure you try the rum cakes they’re delicious!! Perfect way to hit a lot of stops around the island. It was perfect and fun!
