One day before our guide will contact you and get the location of your hotel or any accommodation in Baku. Gabala is 216 km from Baku. On the way to Gabala, our first stop will be Shamakhi City which was the ancient capital of Shirvansah's reign. Juma mosque which is considered the oldest mosque in Azerbaijan will be visited in Shamakhi. After reaching Gabala city guests will taste delicious lunch at the traditional restaurant. You can enjoy nature walking around Nohur Lake, or take a boat or catamaran ride. Tufandagh Mountain Resort is the most popular touristic place in Gabala. Guests can get a cable car and go to the top of Tufandagh Mountain. Winter Season Resort became a skiing resort as well. 7 beauties Waterfalls will be our last stop in Gabala. On the way to the waterfall, we will change our minivan to a Soviet Lada car and experience an off-road trip

Juma Mosque
Juma Mosque of Shamakhi or Friday Mosque is a mosque in the city of Shamakhi, Azerbaijan.Construction date of the mosque- 743-744 relies on research of a geological commission coming from Tiflis, which was led by prince Shahgulu Qajar. This date was defined with Arabic ligature on the facade of the Friday Mosque, stating the year 126 according to Islamic calendar as the establishment year.Just in this period the construction of new religious buildings – mosques – was begun in the territory of Azerbaijan. Historical appearance of ancient Islamic architectural monuments was related to Arabs’ governance and spreading of Islam in the territory of Azerbaijan. Friday Mosque of Shamakhi is considered the first mosque in the Caucasus after cathedral Friday Mosque of Derbent, which was constructed in 734.

4.00The trip to Gabala was good. We enjoyed the different places we've been too. The guide Eljan was great, friendly and very helpful. The driver was amazing. Few points that I hope can be considered for the future trips. 1. The departure from Baku should be earlier to account for the travel time and arrive to Gabala at a decent time that allows people to engage in different activities without rush. We barely had time in Tufandag to do anything with the long queues and big crowds. 2. The bus is super uncomfortable for such a long trip, with very little space for the legs. I understand that it's Mercedes, yet very uncomfortable. At the end the guide managed do take us to all the places that were on the itinerary, even the Junmah mosque at night where it was closed.

5.00Excellent and efficient tour company. Their prices are very affordable. I booked 2 trips, which had multi places to visit within a single package. They sometimes pick you up and return you to your hotel directly. Otherwise, you will meet them on a specified meeting point. You will be dropped there at the end of the tour. The tour guides are friendly and speak very good English. The communication with the company on WhatsApp is very efficient anytime of the day. Very good and clean transportations. Highly recommend
