5.00Rukmal , a driver I chartered in Sri Lanka, was a very kind and reliable person. They suggest various places for us to go along the way, but they never take us unilaterally and always respect our will to decide for ourselves. They would always take us to places where we said we wanted to go. They also help you not only to get around, but also to interact with people in the shops in tourist areas. At the tea factory, for example, I was able to get a factory tour very smoothly thanks to the coordination with the staff. I think he's a really good driver because he can enjoy the journey with peace of mind throughout. If you are thinking of travelling to Sri Lanka, I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely ask Rukmal to come back next time.

5.00Ananda made the first half of our trip incredibly smooth and stress-free. He was ready and waiting for us at the airport, and then drove us from Colombo to Sigiriya and on to Kandy, where we caught our train to Ella. Not only did he take us to every place we wanted to see, he also made the entire process so easy, from finding entrances and exits to helping us figure out where and how to get our tickets. His guidance saved us so much time and made the experience much more enjoyable. We’re really grateful for his help and would highly recommend Ananda to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable driver in Sri Lanka!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with our private driver in Sri Lanka! They picked us up from the airport and ensured our journey was smooth and enjoyable. The highlight was the safari, where we were lucky enough to spot a leopard—an unforgettable moment! Throughout our trip, he shuttled us around various parts of Sri Lanka with professionalism, warmth, and great local insights. The only mishap was we originally requested for a SUV large enough to handle the luggage we were traveling with and they arrived in a small sedan. It wasn’t the fault of the driver but can easily be overlooked once we got our journey underway. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver—highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

Ifthikar was our private taxi driver on our 5 days tour from airport to Galle, Udawalawe, Ella & Arugam bay. He is very polite, professional and safe driver. He kept the car clean, has good knowledge of Sri Lanka. I can highly recommend him and was grateful for the safe travels we had with him.

5.00I booked with SLPD for our two week trip around Sri Lanka in January 24. I first made contact about a month out and Fazool helped me to determine the best option for our trip. He was very communicative and provided fast and clear responses. In the end we chose to take the same driver for the whole trip, which turned out to be the ideal option. We were met at the airport by Ifthika, our driver for the next two weeks. The car was a mid-size Toyota which looked pretty new and was very clean and comfortable. Ifthika was great, he was very responsive throughout and always turned up on time as agreed (over WhatsApp), often with a freshly washed car! He made many great suggestions along the route (several of which we took up), but was not pushy if we did not fancy something. Most importantly his driving skills are exceptional. For those of you that have driven (or been driven) around Sri Lanka it is not for the faint hearted, so having an experienced driver at the wheel helped us feel safe. Thanks to Fazool and particularly Ifthika, for helping to make our trip around Sri Lanka so special. Would highly recommend.

5.00We hired Dila to take myself, husband and 14month son around Sri Lanka. We landed early but he was waiting for us at the airport. Always punctual, polite, friendly. He has such fantastic knowledgable of the country, making suggestions to suit all 3 of us. (But happy to let us sleep as well) He was great with our son. Can’t recommend him enough. We have already booked him to take us back to the airport (with some stop offs on the way) Really great guy.
