What To Expect

Udawalawe National Park

We will pick you up from hotels in Matara, Mirissa, Weligama, Ahangama, Talpe, Unawatuna, Galle, Hikkaduwa or nearby towns and drive you to Udawalawa in a comfortable air-conditioned car or van via the highway. You board an open safari jeep and head to the Udawalawe National Park and view the scenic Udawalawe region en route to the natural habitats of elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and various animals. By studying the animals' behavior patterns, our skilled and experienced guides will teach you everything you don't know about each animal and answer any questions you may have about the animals and the forest. You can ask the guide. You will have plenty of freedom to take great photos to make our safari unforgettable. After the safari, you will board a comfortable air-conditioned car to travel back to Matara, Mirissa, Weligama, Ahangama, Talpe, Unawatuna, Galle, Hikkaduwa or nearby towns.

It was great: we got picked up at the hotel and driven to the park. The guide was waiting for us with the pick up. We saw many elephants, babies, males, females, swimming in a pond… we also saw crocodiles, monkeys, birds, a wild cat, varan, lizards, peacocks and toucans. Our guide was very friendly and knowleadgeable.

This tour company provided an excellent day trip from Galle to Udawalawe for a safari. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out all the amazing wildlife we encountered, including elephants, birds, lizards, and buffalo. The tour operator went above and beyond by ensuring we were returned to Galle after the trip, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this tour company for anyone looking for a memorable safari adventure.
