This unforgettable day tour departs Galway at 9:00 AM, travelling by coach along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and through the rocky limestone landscape of the Burren to the charming village of Doolin. From there, take the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most traditional of the Aran Islands. Explore a 10th-century castle ruin, a sunken church, a shipwreck, and a peaceful beach. Walk the island’s quiet boreens or rent a bike or pony & trap for a more immersive experience (extra cost).
After your island adventure, the ferry returns to Doolin and continues with a spectacular cruise beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher, a truly unique view of one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks. Prefer not to cruise? You can disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group.
Next, enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal (not included), then spend an hour exploring the top of the Cliffs and admire the vista.
We return to Galway via the stunning coastal route, arriving back around 7:30 PM.

The tour was fabulous and Dave was great. We drove through some cool small villages as Dave gave us the highlights of what we were looking at. He was funny and informative. We spent 2 hours on the island which was cool. Then we got a boat cruise to see the cliffs of Moher from the water and then an opportunity to walk along the top of the cliffs. Long day but well worth it!

Francis was a great driver and guide! He hit the right blend of doling out interesting tidbits and jokes with also giving us time to silently enjoy the countryside and sights. He is affable and personable and just a delight. I am so glad we took this tour as it hit all the things we wanted to see. We were also impressed about how well he managed a ginormous bus on the narrow, sharp curved roads.

This tour exceeded expectations. Dave, our tour guide, made a 10 hour tour enjoyable throughout. The visit to Inisheer was our favorite part of the trip. It offered great views and adventure! The ferry ride below the cliffs was beautiful, but be prepared for rough seas and wet clothes. An hour at the cliffs was the perfect amount of time to take it all in. The drive back was scenic. Dave is knowledgeable about every area and definitely enjoys what he does. 10/10 would do again!

Tommy was super awesome and funny! Love every historical story he shared. He's so informative and drives that bus very safely during the tour. I got to meet some amazing people during this tour, and had lunch with them. It's super worthwhile and that irish coffee was much needed after all that ferry ride. Make sure you dressed in waterproof rain jackets with hood/ hats and warmly! The weather and waves are unpredictable but, that sight-seeing is 10/10!

We had 2 tour drivers, as one unfortunately became ill during the trip. Both Patrick and David were top notch! Full of information, history, jokes (craic) and whimsy! They took the time to chat with each person, and made you feel at home. Although we had some rain when we were at the top of the cliffs, it didn’t “dampen” the experience. Well worth the money to see these magnificent sites and the beautiful scenery along the way!

Amazing experience! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour itself ran so smoothly. This was a great way to explore the beauty of the cliffs and the islands. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Ireland.

Great expérience going to Inisheer first, then ferry tour to see the cliffs from belle, and afterwards going to see the cliffs from above. The only way renting a car and doing it alone would be better is to be able to spend more time at each destination, but them again you would not be able to do both in the same day. I enjoyed our guide Paul’s explanation all the way from Galway to Doolin, such a pleasant guide and a mine of information.
