This unforgettable day tour departs Galway at 9:00 AM, travelling by coach along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and through the rocky limestone landscape of the Burren to the charming village of Doolin. From there, take the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most traditional of the Aran Islands. Explore a 10th-century castle ruin, a sunken church, a shipwreck, and a peaceful beach. Walk the island’s quiet boreens or rent a bike or pony & trap for a more immersive experience (extra cost).
After your island adventure, the ferry returns to Doolin and continues with a spectacular cruise beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher, a truly unique view of one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks. Prefer not to cruise? You can disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group.
Next, enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal (not included), then spend an hour exploring the top of the Cliffs and admire the vista.
We return to Galway via the stunning coastal route, arriving back around 7:30 PM.

Lovely trip with Patrick and then Tommy. Both very knowledgeable about Irish culture and history. We got to pack a lot in in one day and saw some beautiful countryside going and coming. Cliffs of Moher was the highlight, and it was great to be able to see it from the sea and land. For those prone to seasickness, the waters can be quite choppy. Highly recommend.

What a brilliant packed day out! It’s fab if you like a hassle free day - everything is organised for you, the tour guide Patrick has so many facts, I felt like I came away so knowledgeable! I only wish we could have had longer in Inisheer, the weather was amazing and a few more hours on the island would have been perfect to explore. You have many options to travel on the island for the two hours you’re there - hire a bike, e-bike, pony and trap ride, coach or walking - I chose pony and trap because I wanted to see as much of the island as I could! Plus extra knowledge from the rider, who was funny and informative. All options are €15 apart from e-bike which is €40 and walking obviously is free. It was a wild ferry crossing over to Moher which was also incredible to see from the sea. We had a quick lunch at a pub in Doolin - they are prepared for the group to arrive so food came out super quickly. The cliff tops were beautiful and blustery, but I think I’d have preferred to go earlier in the day as it was very busy. The coach was very luxurious and comfortable- plenty of space and phone charging in the seats. Overall, incredibly factual and fun day out! I met some nice fellow travellers too.

Dave made sure our day together was enjoyable from beginning to end. He kept us entertained and well informed of how to get the most out of our time on Innisheer and the Cliffs of Moher. We were so glad that we booked this tour. It was an easy way to see the Aran Islands, the Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way all without having to brave the narrow rural roads ourselves! The day was perfect except for the tour guide who was determined to move his whole bus load of guests to the front of the line to board the ferry departing from the island so they could grab the best seats on the boat. Dave did his best to help those who arrived early to hold their spot in line but the other guide continued to push his group to the head of the line. Having had only one person on the pier when we arrived, my husband and I confronted the man and did board before them, but that was out of character for me and very unpleasant. Hopefully the ferry company will make some changes to control the queue so others don’t have to deal with this issue in the future.

I absolutely love this tour! Dave was a fantastic tour guide, sharing all the information with us and going above and beyond for our group. Unless an avid biker, I’d opt for the horse and carriage or the bus tour on the island. It is way hillier than I was expecting, but it was still a good experience! The cliffs were incredible, if you get sea sick I would opt out of the boat that goes under the cliffs and just take the ferry back to Doolin. The end of May was rocky and multiple people on our boat were sick. But it is a very cool experience if you can tolerate it. I highly recommend this tour, such a great experience and overall feel like there was enough time at each stop to do and see everything!

Definitely to do this tour. This was a family favorite. Seeing the Cliffs from the water was breathtaking. It was great to see them from the top as well. The trip to Aran Islands was great. The history of the small island and how self sufficient the people who live there are is fascinating. The ride back along the Atlantic had wonderful views. Our bus driver and guide was Tommy and he was great. We would recommend this tour for anyone over 16. I don’t think it’s something very young kids would find exciting.

Dave was a great guide providing lots of information about Ireland and the area. He has a wonderful sense of humour and clearly appreciate the creatures of the land, stopping to feed donkeys carrots whenever the opportunity arose (they must know him too!). It was a fun day despite some rain and wavy conditions while touring the Cliffs of Moher by boat.

This tour is one of the best things one can do, especially when first time in Ireland. Perfectly organised, incredibly professional, friendly and fun. The pace is just right, in one day you’ll get a week worth experience. Gorgeous views, lots of information and great vibes. Huge thanks to our driver Patrick who took such a great care of us! 100 of 10, would do it again!
