This unforgettable day tour departs Galway at 9:00 AM, travelling by coach along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and through the rocky limestone landscape of the Burren to the charming village of Doolin. From there, take the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most traditional of the Aran Islands. Explore a 10th-century castle ruin, a sunken church, a shipwreck, and a peaceful beach. Walk the island’s quiet boreens or rent a bike or pony & trap for a more immersive experience (extra cost).
After your island adventure, the ferry returns to Doolin and continues with a spectacular cruise beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher, a truly unique view of one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks. Prefer not to cruise? You can disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group.
Next, enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal (not included), then spend an hour exploring the top of the Cliffs and admire the vista.
We return to Galway via the stunning coastal route, arriving back around 7:30 PM.

Great guide, several activities, and well organized. The day was windy so the ferry ride was extremely rocky. Bring pills for nausea! Otherwise, a great excursion.

Tour bus to boat ride. Beautiful sites, very touristy but easy way to see a few spectacular places in one easy day

My son and I had a great experience on this tour. It was a beautiful day to see the Cliffs of Moher from the boat and on land. Inisheer was a delight, and we ended up having lunch at a pub while there. Overall, our tour guide, Dave, provided a comprehensive tour and covered a lot of information along the way and at all locations. He gave us ample time to see the sights and take pictures. We were gone all day, but time seemed to fly by as we toured Inisheer and visited the Cliffs. Although it was a sunny and clear day, it was also cold and windy. So be sure to be prepared for the weather and sit inside the boat if you don't want to get wet from the waves.

Had a great time the entire trip, Dave who was the guide for our trip really kept the energy up during the whole trip and explained about the history of the places we were covering. Totally worth the money

Patrick made the day super enjoyable! Our favourite part was biking in Innis Orr, the cutest and most beautiful island.

This tour takes you to Inisheer and the Cliffs of Moer. Seeing the cliffs of Moer both from the water and from the top of the cliff was really interesting. Riding bikes on Inisheer was a great way to see lots of sites on the island. Overall, this tour really gives you an idea of the topography and culture of this area of Ireland. Our tour guide, Dave, was great.

This tour was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of my trip to Ireland! Tommy was our driver and guide and he was amazing. Super knowledgeable, funny, organized, and kept the entire day running smoothly while also making it really enjoyable. If you want to see a little bit of everything in one day, this tour truly hits it all: one of the Aran Islands, the boat tour below the Cliffs of Moher, the top of the cliffs themselves, and a stop for a pub lunch. It felt like we got so much packed into the day without it feeling rushed. One thing I would recommend is bringing cash for the Aran Islands activities. The options were around €15 and included a bus tour, horse and carriage, or bike rental. I personally did the bus tour and would highly recommend it. The horses do not go all the way up to the castle, and the castle ended up being one of my favorite parts with incredible views and fun ruins to walk through. The pub lunch is not included, which was totally fine in my opinion. The food was hot, good, and reasonably priced. I also highly recommend watching the weather before booking if you have flexibility. I lucked out with the most sunny, beautiful day and it made the experience even more incredible. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Galway!

This was the most beautiful tour with the best kindest, wittiest, and most helpful driver, Tommy! My traveling companion had just had a knee replacement and he accommodated us with patience and helpful tips for those needing a bit of assistance! For instance, there is a golf cart to ride you up to the cliffs that we never would’ve known about without Tommy. He has a truly amazing memory for Irish history. The island portion of the trip is gorgeous and the ferry ride below the cliffs…incredible! Take the horse and carriage! So much fun!!! Thank you Galway Tours!
