Alessandra’s knowledge & passion was infectious & our boys enjoyed the scavenger hunt so much..& I was so surprised at how much they learnt in such an engaging way around the sights of Rome. Bravo!   We had the most amazing Vatican tour with Mariaclaudia! She was absolutely fantastic — engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. Despite the heat and the crowds, she managed to keep our almost 7-year-old fully engaged the entire time, which is no small feat. The tour was both fun and informative, with just the right mix of history, storytelling, and interactive moments to keep us all interested. We learned so much and truly appreciated her energy and enthusiasm. Will be back for other tours! Highly recommend!

  I have learned over the years that having a good tour guide is essential if you really want to understand the history of a building/historical site/landmark. However, if kids are involved, that could be torturous! After a bit of research we found this tour and the Colosseum on. Veronica was our tour guide, she was brilliant! The group size was 12 in total and the kids ages ranged from 6 to 14. We covered the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and lots of things in between. We had disposable ear pieces so we could hear as we walked easily from each area. Veronica pitched the information perfectly; there was something for everyone. All the children were included. Veronica used storytelling a quiz, and illustrations via books and electronic media to relay lots of interesting information, nobody was bored! Her enthusiasm for the subject, and love of children was evident, we were all learned loads. 10/10. Highly recommended.

  We booked the Colosseum tour and the Percy Jackson tour in Rome. Both were fantastic! Both tour guides did a great job keeping my kids engaged and learning the whole time. I would definitely recommend and book again!

  We did the Vatican Museum Tour with Simona, and she was amazing! She really made the museum interesting and fun for our kids. She is so knowledgeable, and knows how to tailor her information to her audience. She gave us nice breaks and had a little gift for the kids at the end as they won the game (kids vs grownups) that we played! MariaClaudia was very responsive from my first email about the tours, and emailed us right away with other options when she realized we couldn't do the Sistine Chapel because of the Conclave. I highly recommend this tour! I'm sure their other tour guides are great, but I would suggest to request Simona!

  Castel St. Angelo and Colosseum😍We had a group of 8. 4 Parents and 4 kids ages 8-11. Alessandra (Alex) was INCREDIBLE. She kept the kids engaged, made sure the content was relevant and accurate and really made our trip to Rome come alive. We would definitely use Mariaclaudia Tours again!

  Brilliant tour which took us to many sites in Rome. A great way to see the city in a child friendly way. Our guide was fab and really thought about what might be interesting for kids. Will definitely book again and would recommend to all families. The competition helped keep the kids entertained and engaged throughout.

  Maria took my husband and I and our 6 year old grandson on a treasure hunt all around the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon area. She slowly but surely completely engaged him snd he had a wonderful time. Her games, stories, competitions and pictures kept him memorized. He is still talking about Maria and how he “won the contest.” So glad we did this.

  We visited the excavations of Pompeii and the guide was not only very prepared but also able to give rhythm to the story by integrating historical information also anecdotes and funny and current considerations. I recommend a lot, it's worth it ✨
