5.00We travelled care of Advantour to Turkmenistan for a three day trip, including the fas crater. Fantastic experience with super tour guides and extremely experienced drivers, who navigated the rather poor road conditions out of the major towns with ease. We felt extremely welcomed by all we met on our travels and never felt anything other than 100% safe, including when exploring Ashgabat independently. Communications were explemplary before and during our trip. An experience to remember!!

5.00I booked a tour with Rovach AB as Turkmenistan stopped issuing transit visas in the spring of 2025. I was on a motorcycle, but they accommodated me by adding me to a tour with an American in the bus. Our tour guide, Bahtiyar was very accommodating and made the best of a bad road to the crater. They also took care of all the border paperwork while we waited. We stayed in simple yurts at the crater and had lots of time for photos that are one of a kind, highly recommended. Our tour includes two nights in Ashgabat where we got to see the unique monuments of Turkmenistan. It was wonderful service and a great deal.
