It was fine, our guide was engaging and had lots of interesting facts about the city, but we describing it as a gastronomic tour is a bit of a stretch when we didn't get to try most of the street food highlights of quito.

A very comprehensive tour. Gaby is a fun person to be around and very knowledgeable. Plenty of good food and tasting sessions. As a family we loved it.

Perfect mix of culture and food/drink tastings in the old town of Quito to introduce you to the city. Our guide Vivi was amazing...super friendly, upbeat and engaging so the cultural/historical parts were not boring at all. The only "warning" I would give is that because this tour blends both food and culture, this might not be like other food tours you've done in other cities/countries in that you will not get to try all of the famous dishes from the area and while there are plenty of samples along the way, do not expect it to amount to a full meal where you finish the tour completely stuffed. I say this not to discourage you from this amazing tour but just so you know you might want to have a little meal beforehand to carry you through. Also, despite the altitude and many hills in Quito, the walking aspect of the tour was not difficult at all, especially after you get past the decent amount of stairs you climb right at the beginning of the tour after the Basilica. It's almost entirely level or downhill from there. Overall, definitely recommend!

The Quito Gastronomic Walking and Tastings Tour was truly exceptional. What stands out is the fact that not only are you trying a huge variety of interesting food and drinks, but you are learning so much about the history of this country and its indigenous culture. It gave us a full picture of the agriculture heritage both past and present, and the wide array of food preparations found in Quito. Vivi is so knowledgeable and shared so many fun facts about her beloved country. Among the highlights was learning a traditional dance and tasting 10 types of Ecuadorian chocolate. Walking through the historic district offered us the opportunity to see the city’s most important churches and colorful Colonial architecture. I highly recommend this tour!

Had a wonderful experience in the tour. Kevin was on point about giving us a taste of the history and culture of Quito. Took us to many local restaurants to sample tasty food and drinks. Even had us participate in an indigenous dance, which was so fun to do. Best part of the tour was sampling the different kinds of chocolates. Definitely recommend this tour, it is thoroughly enjoyable!
