I had an incredible experience exploring the Historic Center of Quito with Steffi. She is a fantastic guide who is clearly passionate about her country. Her explanations were incredibly detailed, covering everything from Ecuador’s rich history to its vibrant culture. Thanks to her I tasted the delicious Ecuadorian food! She made my visit to Ecuador special!

Excellent tour by far with our guide Stefy. She is a local guide who grew up n Quito and obviously loves what she does. Quito is uphill downhill walking with some stairs. Take this tour maybe a day after acclimating yourself to the altitude. Stefy was cognizant of me and my husband slowing down when walking uphill so adjusted her pace. It’s a long tour but so worth it. The tastings were yummy. Don’t buy any food in between because you’ll be full with the tastings.

Fernando's Quito Walking Tour (for tips) out of the Secret Garden hostel was fantastic. Everyone in our group agreed. No rush. Plenty of rest and bathroom stops. Personally, I enjoyed his optional summary of the HISTORY of Ecuador. Bonus on the City Tour
