5.00Lander is a great tour guide. It was like going out for drinks with a friend. He introduced to the pinchos culture and history. He is informative about the history of the region. The places we visited were representative of both traditional and modern styles. I would certainly recommend his tour.

5.00On our first night in San Sebastian we decided to do a Pintxos tour using Donesti Republic. The website is easy to use and the booking system is simple. Communications with the owner are good with clear meeting instructions. The tour itself was great. Landers knowledge of his city is excellent as his the choice of bars that we visited. Despite heavy rain we navigated 4 busy bars with many people choosing to shelter. Lander very quickler had his order of Pintxos and wine delivered to our table and we relished each one. The combinations were so well thought out and all delicious. I highly recommend this company to get your trip to San Sebastian of to a flyer.

5.00Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. A really enjoyable two hours spent with Lander for our family of two adults and one child (aged 9). Really informative and we got to visit four different Pintxos places. Great way to get your bearings of the old town and find out where the best food places are.

5.00My husband and I took this pintxos tour on our first night in San Sebastian. Lander was a perfect host. There was just the two of us, so another guide might have cancelled. Not Lander. He explained that he tries to keep the groups small anyways to make sure there is a genuine touch to it. We went to 4 different places, all his favourites, all very genuine and with great food and drink. We also got a lot of advice and insights into what more to do and test in San Sebastian. I can definately recommend this tour. And it was also a great way to start our weekend trip.

5.00This tour was great, both food wise and historically wise. Lander was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He cared about his culture and was happy to share this. The pintxos were absolutely delicious! The pork belly, the ‘rock cod’. He also gave alternatives….good stuff🏆
I would recommend it 1 and 1000 times!

Lander gave us the best insight, a lot of information about the city and its culture, he created a great vibe. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We were on a small group, perfect to navigate the old town and its bars. A total must, thanks Lander!

5.00One of the best tours we have ever taken! Lander is friendly and knowledgeable not only about pintxos but about everything in Donostia. We learnt all about history and architecture, and had the best pintxos paired with great wines. Totally recommend this tour and any Donosti Republic has to offer, a truly amazing experience driven by a passionate local!
