What To Expect
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
In this tour, you will explore Mongolia within a day including horse riding, trekking, historical sites, and cultural experiences. Here you will enjoy the spectacular and lush greenery, as well as many famous cultural sites. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Head north 3km from Turtle Rock and you'll reach this Buddhist site, built on a spectacular rocky hillside. Set aside 45 minutes here to walk the circuit that loops by 143 boards displaying Buddhist proverbs en route to the temple. Along the way, you'll pass several stupas and painted Buddhist motifs on the rocks.

Great Multiple Tour Experiences in One Day!

5.00Overall, the trip was fantastic because my tour guide was extremely attentive to my needs and everything was meticulously prepared and coordinated. The statue of Genghis Khaan was amazing and unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The balcony was smaller than I expected when I reached the top of the monument, but it provided a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The view was breathtaking, and there was a large open field that provided a sense of freedom and relaxation. On the way, there were folks who had eagles on their hands and let people to take photos with them. I had one in my hand; the eagle was enormous, hefty, and gorgeous, with enormous wings. Then we went to a beautiful and historically significant temple, which I enjoyed walking up. The design of the temple garden and structure is very stunning. Overall, I had a great time on the tour, and it was well worth it because there were so many different cultural experiences packed into one day.
