Go through the museum first to understand the positioning of the armies and defensive positions the narrator explains in detail. Great trip, better than any Civil War course in high school. No photos due to phone used for the tour.

We had only three or so hours to visit Gettysburg, but that was enough to see the highlights we wanted to visit. The tour was really worthwhile with good directions and lots of valuable information in a compact form. It provides additional resources for a deeper dive for those who want to know more. It's perfect for families as the tour gives plenty of elementary background on the war and the figures involved, then provides additional info on each spot on the tour. It treats the opposing sides with equal respect, so I suppose it's good for folks from the southern US as well as the northern, but I think I would have appreciated a reminder that the Confederate leaders broke their military oaths, that the South lost the war, and that, despite ridiculous claims to the contrary, they were fighting for the "right" to own human beings. Not to mention that it was the oligarchs of the South clinging onto their wealth gotten on the sweat of humans who had zero rights that drove the war to begin with. That rant over, the tour is definitely worthwhile. There's one little confusing spot at Seminary Ridge where the drive loops itself. Pay attention there and you'll be fine.

Know where to start and follow the GPS. If you start driving prior to a narrative completion, it may not finish.

This Audio-Guided car tour was very informative! My husband downloaded the app onto his phone and we used it to tour the battlegrounds on our first day. Our only problem was the app did not connect with the car via the USB or Bluetooth. It also had a small delay in the directional guide, especially if you go faster than the marked 25 MPH. I would say just take it easy while traveling through the park and you should be fine. Overall, we enjoyed the app and the information it provided about the battlegrounds. It hit all the major sights and went into detail about the battles that took place.

We were sceptical whether this would actually work, but we were pleasantly surprised. The narrative was great, and the directions were easy to follow. Great that you can spend as long or as little time at each point. It took us about 2 hours, but we plan to do it again and take more time and get out of the car at more of the stops

This was a wonderful self-driving tour for Gettysburg. Getting everything set up on the phone was easy. The narration was fantastic. We really enjoyed the additional stories along the way. Directional signage for the tour route was excellent, too. It took us 4 hours to complete the tour. (We could have spent even more time but we had our dogs in the car and couldn't leave them alone for very long.) We highly recommend this driving tour!
