This was a last minute selection, I was looking for something to do on a day trip to Ghent. Matias (sp) was our guide. He was prompt and engaging. He tried to include everyone in the group in conversation. I knew alcohol samples were included, but I cannot drink alcohol, so Matias hooked me up with a coffee at the last stop. All of the locations he took us had excellent samples and I would have liked some time at a couple stops to make a purchase (such as the chocolate). Since I was only on a day trip and had to catch the train back, circling back around was not an option.

Our guide Matthius was very knowledgeable & friendly. Not stingy with the tastings! Lots of info about not only the food & drink but the architecture & history of Ghent. Would 100% recommend.

Debby was very cordial and a great guide. Many personal experiences with a truly great tour. We visited many places after the tour to explore more. A great tour to get the 'lay of the land'.

Enjoyed the tour of Ghent, which was told in an interesting way by Tom (in the hat). With his enthusiasm he took us all the way inside the stories about Ghent’s past. The tasters were also delicious!

Debbie was our tour guide and she was amazing! She taught us so much history about Ghent, but also the places we visited. We had about 8 stops, and we definitely feel we got our money’s worth. All the food we tasted was delicious and the tour was about 3 hours, and never felt rushed. Highly recommend doing this if you come to Ghent and it being the first thing you do.
