This was our first visit to Nepal and our first trek. It was amazing! Physically relatively easy despite our initial reservations. We were lucky with v good weather. The views of the omnipresent mountains were superb. Our guide Santabir was extremely attentive and took very good care of us. The only problem was that he beat us at cards 3 nights in a row! The hotel stays in Katmandu and Pokhara as part of the package were of a very good standard. However, I would opt for flights despite an additional cost between Katmandu and Pokhara as the bus journey was 8-10hrs and very bumpy.

For our first trek in Nepal we decided to rely on Nepal Social Trek, given the great reviews. Our trust has been repaid by great organization and maximum professionalism. They assisted us in designing the route (we cut a day because unfortunately we did not have enough days in our itinerary) and reassured us about the difficulty (we are beginners). Every effort was rewarded by a beautiful experience among terraces, forests, and a spotless sky at Poon Hill that gave us a breathtaking view of the peaks. A big thank you to Bishnu and Urgen, our carers, attentive and very professional.

My partner and I had an amazing trek with the brilliant Sandip Aryal (guide) and Prabit Gurung (porter) from Nepal Social Treks. The Poon Hill trek was perfect for us, well balanced days in a mix of high forest (with wild monkeys), mountain valleys and stunning rural villages. It was just magic to see the Annapurna range of the Himalayan mountains capped in white. Sandip and Prabit were endlessly kind, friendly, supportive and professional. Whatever we needed they facilitated including adjusting our itinerary. We stayed in wonderful mountain tea houses, which were cosy and provided delicious local and western meals to power us. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The trek was amazing, I had a really fun time. I am really thankful that we had a guide because me and my friend had a little trouble on the way and wanted to finish the hike on are own. The guides did everything they could to help. I would go again if i could.

Fantastic trekking. The landscapes, the environment, the routes. Wonderful views, every corner was something very cool and a new surprise that made you feel better and better. The waterfalls, the rivers, the lodges, the trees, the sky...a unique experience. Probably one of the best places in the world for trekking. The guide, Devendra Dulal, is great, very attentive, fun, always with an eye in case you need anything. He doesn't stop worrying, he knows the routes very well... I felt super comfortable with him and he also takes some top-notch photos and videos. The best guide.

I was in Nepal with my 16 year old son. The tour was perfectly organized by Nepal Social Treks and Expedition. From arrival at the airport to departure, an all-round carefree package. Good briefing at the Nepal Social Treks office. The tour with our guide Himesh and Porter Bharat was absolutely great and I would do it again anytime. On the Poonhill Trek Tour, a lot of Nepal can be seen and experienced in a very short time

I booked the Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek and can highly recommend the hike and the agency. Everything was perfectly organized from A to Z. Basu always has an open ear for all questions, ensures a smooth running of the tour and is always responsive. My guide during the trek, Madan, was simply the best! He always made sure I was in a good mood during the trek, always took good care of me and gave me the opportunity to take a little break when things got physically more strenuous. In addition, he gave me a lot of valuable background information about the Himalayas and Nepali culture. It was very amicable. We even had a common motivational song, which we always sang together during the trek :D. ("Resham firiri" (check it out)). All in all, it was an insanely great and unique experience. This was definitely not my last trip in Nepal. You can't go wrong with this agency and you are in good hands. I wish you a great time in beautiful Nepal, the roof of the world. P.S: Don't be afraid to travel and trek alone as a woman. Nepalis are really very respectful and trustworthy people. I felt safe during my whole stay!

I had the most amazing time on this trek! It was actually part of a longer trip that included a visit to Bhaktapur and Chitwan Park, rafting and paragliding. I don't remember being this happy and enjoying something this much in a long time. We had a great guide - Basu was incredibly friendly, funny and helpful and tought us a lot about Nepal's culture, history and traditions. We had some amazing porters who I cannot thank enough for carrying all our stuff and being so patient (I'm pretty sure some of us had waaay too many things). They were always smiling, always offering to help, even with our smaller luggage and always there to keep us safe and guide us when we were slower than the group. I felt really well looked after, and all the places they chose for us to stay in were great. I would do it all again in a blink of an eye, and would always choose to do it with Nepal Social. I'm actually planning on returning next year for Everest Base Camp. Nepal is a gorgeous country with an amazing culture, traditions and cuisines, and will forever have a special place in my heart!
