Square Gambetta is a large square in Carcassonne on the other side of the river Aude and the famous Cité. With this square begins the old walled city, built by King St. Louis of France: La Bastide de Saint Louis. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
Chapelle Notre Dame de la Sante
According to notarial acts, the little chapel Notre Dame de la Santé was built with money from the legacy of Jean de Saix, in 1527, as a hospital for those suffering from the plague. It was considered a faithful guard in that strategic location, the narrow passage between fortified buildings. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

For my part I can't give a positive review because it's impossible to unlock the quest...either with the email address where the QR Code! And yet there were several of us and we lost at least 1 hour t of money for nothing...

The story itself and the experience was super fun. It was just not clear that we did not have to pay once each. We took the experience for 5 participants but brought 3 small children. They eventually joined me and my wife and because of that I have now bought 3 out of 5 tickets for nothing. So we could have done it with one ticket.

Unlocking very complicated, worked after a lot of effort for 2 of 3. History for children. Suitable if you are interested in detailed knowledge and architecture. Diseases, for example, as in the description hardly appear in the explanations.

The questions were nice and it took us to some really good places we would not have seen otherwise. The only problem for me was the story, it was et great and it fell short to what we were hoping for. Very confusing and it did not have much to do with Carcassonne. The historical information was great though!

La Boulangerie de la Cité at 3 Rue Saint-Louis, 11000 Carcassonne, France is close to the Basilique Saint Nazaire, a very clean, nice and welcoming environment. Here we had breakfast for 4 days and lunch once. The pastry part is fabulous, sweets and fantastic pasta. For lunch they offer different solutions that you can check from their site or from the photos I attached. You can choose whether to eat in the indoor dining room or on the outdoor terrace in front of the entrance. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices (a bit high) are in line with those of all places in Carcassonne. Highly recommended. Navigation on the Canal Du-Midi, near the two vans where you can get tickets there are several outdoor parking lots, we instead parked in the underground paid right in the square adjacent to the two vans mentioned above. The difference between the two solutions is only boats for navigation as the journey is the same. We did the one lasting 1.5 hours of navigation on the canal passing 2 locks. During navigation, in addition to the 2 locks, you see only a few abandoned boats, a house, vegetation and nothing more. Honestly I only Recommendation to those who have never seen or passed locks to see how a boat sails on a canal with different water heights.

The story and the game could have been nice but the explanations of the route need to be reviewed, as if the route had been done via maps and not on site, so there is no point in going back and forth.... So painful that we didn't finish the shame part!

I ordered this escape game as I have already done in several cities. I couldn't even finish. There were a lot of stairs to climb, so I put my phone in my pocket. Finally arriving at the top, I couldn't resume the game because I had to go back down to where I had closed my phone. No possibility of skipping the step. So I couldn't finish.
