This was great! Normally, I do not go for the mass, tour bus type of travel. But I’ll make an exception for this one. The company was very communicative prior - they were clear and proactive. The bus was packed full but I found a spot in back and had a nice chat with people. I also felt safe enough to sleep the entire hour and a half drive to Giverny! That was a benefit too as I have not slept well since arriving in Paris. The gardens were choked full of people. I don’t think there is a way around that other than to visit first thing in the morning or spend the night. The 2+ hours they give you there were not enough for me, but I was photographing so much that truly I need to come back so I can spend twice as much time. The line was so long for the maison that I completely skipped that part. But one of the surprise highlights of the trip was the our guide Hendricks!!! On the way back, he took our quarter of the bus through an explanation about Monet’s birth, life as a characterist, and how he grew into Impressionism. I learned so much from his talk, and he is so passionate too - he really helped me to understand Monet in an entirely new way. Priceless! If you are going to book a tour bus type of tour to these gardens, book these guys. They actually care.

The gardens in Giverny were stunning mosaics of color, no wonder that Monet created his own world of inspiration here.

The biggest draw is the love of Claude Monet's work and life. It is beautiful and interesting but definitely out of the way if you are coming from Paris or on a shorter trip. It was very crowded but if you hit it between tour groups probaly not bad.

Loved my experience! The guides were great (Michelle and Cinti (apologies as I didn’t quite hear her name)) and the tour was paced perfectly. Very comfortable bus as well. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Impeccably organized, fun and educational . I was very impressed with this company and highly recommend it. The buses we used were comfortable and clean, the choice of destinations and the time allotted were right. and the guides were extraordinary. Well informed, good presenters and always with extra interesting information. Eric in the morning for Versailles and Lawrence in the afternoon for Giverny were the best tour guides I have had in years.

This is a wonderful experience. Typically I avoid tours but I really wanted to see Versailles and Giverny, and this was an easy way to make it happen. I couldn’t have been happier. Our Versailles guide, Eric, and our Giverny guide, Lawrence, were both amazing. Charismatic, knowledgeable, enjoyable to be around. I recommend this tour and hope you’re lucky enough to meet either of these gentlemen.

Both guides were wonderful and full of knowledge. Our first half of the tour was with Eric guiding us through Versailles Palace. He was very informative and helpful and kept us together throughout the palace, not rushing and telling us a wealth of information. Our second tour guide was Lawrence who again gave us superb service as a tour guide. His expert knowledge of Giverny and Monet's Gardens is key to understanding what you're about to see. He explained the history of Monet and his upbringing and how his life went on and even after his death to where he's buried. He told us even more on the way back about how France became what it is today and how the Catholic church influenced the region as well as little tidbits to know about other parts of Paris.
