Biking is such a great way to get to know a city, even though I live in Glasgow I saw places I would've never seen if it wasn't for this bike tour. Martin was our tour guide, and he was amazing, as a Glaswegian he knows so much about the city. We went with the e-bikes, which made our lives a lot easier. The stop at the Clydeside distillery is really nice, the distillery has a great story and the whiskey itself is also pretty nice:)

We had a wonderful tour with Martin! The e-bikes we took really save us a lot of effort and offer different modes to choose from. Martin was really nice and professional throughout the tour, the introduction to some of the city's historical and scenic sites was very impressive! Overall the experience has been exceptional, would definitely recommend to someone who's enthusiastic to cycling and exploring Glasgow.

The e-bike & Distillery Tour was great. We saw places that I would never had seen had it not been for this tour. As we only had limited time to see everything I took the hop on hop off bus the next day & went back to Riverside Museum & Kelvinmore Art Gallery & Museum to have a good look around. Would highly recommend as the e-bikes very very easy to ride

I had an amazing time with the E-biking group tour that included the whiskey distillery. Martin is super knowledgeable and took us to places that were very interesting. We had time to stop for some quick pictures and to learn a little more about specific places along the way. If you want an active way to see the city and park paths, I highly recommend it. This tour was just what I was looking for, and Martin delivered a great experience.

We enjoyed our e-bikes, the bikes took all the physical stress out of our trip. Our guide was courteous, caring and entertaining. He shared so much history about Glasgow and entertained us with his Scottish stories of folklore and magic. We had a chance to preview so many important buildings such as the university and museums for future exploration. At the near end of our tour we visited the Clydeside Distillery, really enjoyed the making of whiskey and especially the tasting. Worth the ride to get a true view of Glasgow

A great way to see some of the highlights of Glasgow. We had a few hours in town during a recent cruise and opted for this tour. I had no experience with e-bikes and had spine surgery a few months earlier so I was somewhat anxious but our guide was wonderful and I ended up having a terrific time. The guide was knowledgable and we had some great short stops where we could take photos. The bikes were in good condition and most of the paths were dedicated bike lanes. The meeting point is a short walk from the central train station .

I have been lucky enough to travel widely and in doing so have taken many, many tours but never by electric bike. This tour, led by Martin, was one of the best I’ve ever taken, and being on a bike added to the fun, breadth and scope, and the feeling of being a part of the city that a walking or bus tour never have. The e-bike was easy to operate after a quick lesson, In terms of the amount of physical energy you need to exert, I would describe it as low to moderate, and you can adjust settings to exert more or less energy. You didn’t need any experience with e-bikes. I didn’t have any. Nor did my two daughters and spouse. The route itself was well planned and moved from historical to newer parts of the city, it included cultural and natural highlights, outside art and neighborhood streets. Martin shares not only his vast knowledge but love of the city. His old timey photos let you see how the city has transformed. He has a good knowledge of, and shares, the feel of the city. The whiskey distillery tour (about 50 minutes) was interesting, and well planned out with a little museum. My family enjoyed the whiskey but I don’t drink, so enough from me on that. Other considerations are value: well worth it as the tour was actually 4 hours and the bikes were in great shape, Martin was incredibly attentive and even provided a snack (apple or candy). He is very friendly, conversational, well travelled, knowledgeable and loves the city—everything you would want in a tour guide. The tour started on time, was centrally located, had access to public toilets, and went through both scenic bike paths and city streets. He worked to get us access to “off the beaten track” spots like a new bridge under construction. The university was a highlight. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. The tour left me writing this - my first ever review.

This E-bike tour of Glasgow including Whisky tasting was a highlight of my recent visit to Scotland. My guide, Martin, from Gallus Pedals is great fun and full of knowledge and background insights into Glasgow past and present. We covered a lot of ground from the very gentrified West-side with Glasgow University and the beautiful River Kelvin precinct , along Clydebank with its shipbuilding history and modern entertainments through to the grittier industrial background of the east-side. To finish off we dropped in for an informative look at whisky production and a few wee-drams at the Clydeside Distillery. As an e-bike was provided, pedalling up hills was easy for an older bloke like me. Thanks Martin for a fabulous view of Glasgow.
