Will was a great guide, explaining the history of the area as well pointing out significant land marks. We had really good food in really nice venues. There was a lot of food, each stop was different. I really appreciated Will's attention to detail and personal care for his clients.

  • Lovely tour, great food, perfect amount of time to do other things afterwards

This was an easy walking tour, at 3 1/2 hours, into locally owned eateries and shops with hard-working, friendly authentic owners and fresh food. Absolutely lovely food. Adam is a personable and friendly guide. He did a good job of keeping us on time while allowing us time to enjoy the atmosphere, the company, and the food. The pick up point was easy to find. I just took the little underground subway, which was easy, clean and safe. Once the tour was over I was in a great spot to visit the botanical gardens which was so fun to sit in there enjoy the garden, and watch people and pets. After that, hopped over to a free museum then walked around and bought some local food and little shops for dinner. Lovely day!

Adam was an excellent Tour Guide and the food stops were wonderful. The only reason I deducted the star was because at the whiskey stop… They were not prepared for us at all and did not have enough whiskey for the group of 10 adults. So we all tasted the first whiskey and then sat for about 30 minutes while waiting to get the next whiskey. Everything else about the Tour was timed well, but we had a car scheduled to pick us up at the return spot and this delay had us worry about losing that ride. We were here with a cruise and didn’t want to risk any problems. But, we let Adam know And he made sure we got there on time. Each location was very good and the people we met were wonderful. The fishmonger and the cheese shop were particularly great. I think the cheddar and the Roquefort cheeses fabulous. We have done many of these secret food tours in a bunch of different cities, including our own hometown in the US. They are consistently good. We had two young boys with us aged seven and 11. They enjoyed all of it and thought the haggis was the best.

When my husband and I travel we make a habit of booking a Secret Food Tour as it allows us to explore parts of a city which we may not have found on our own and to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of another culture. This was our 6th Secret Food Tour, Will, our guide was friendly, personable and a passionate, knowledgeable host. From the beautifully renovated Oran Mor to the University Cafe, we ventured through the charming and vibrant West end of Glasgow. Past experience, has taught us to never eat breakfast on the morning of a tour because if you do, you won’t be able to enjoy all of the delicious food samples. The portions are always very generous. For this particular tour, we added on the beverage package, which turned out to be a nice compliment . There was a great variety of restaurants, venues and friendly local food merchants to visit. Will made the tour fun with his anecdotes and stories behind the food and history. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with him. We look forward to booking another tour on our next trip.

Our tour guide Will definitely understood the assignment!!!!! This tour made our short time in Glasgow so wonderful. We met new people, ate delicious food and gained a better undrstanding through food of the history Glasgow has. We truly appreciate how welcoming and inclusive Will was with everyone in the group. This tour is 10 out of 10 if you are visiting Glasgow and if you're not then you need to plan a visit lol. Can't wait to plan a trip and do it again!!!!! With love from Rita and Juanita ~ Turks and Caicos Islands.

On the trip we got a lot of delicious food and drink and visited hidden pearls that we would never have found ourselves. Adam was full of good stories about the places we visited, about Glasgow and Scotland. A pleasant and educational day. Come hungry!
