Our guide Vivienne had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the whiskey making process, whilst also being very enthusiastic and witty. The use of different chocolates to highlight the particular whiskey flavours was a brilliant way to help us differentiate what we were tasting. Would absolutely recommend. I’d also like to add that glengoyne distillery appear to have some of the most environmentally friendly practices throughout their production range, opting for minimum waste with the majority of their byproducts being used in other processes or sold. There is clearly a conscious effort from top down to employ best practices and they should be commended for doing so.

Great experience with Vivian and Jennifer. Their passion and knowledge made the tour special for a group of 20 from Puerto Rico with many non English speaking. A learning experience, beautiful place, full of history and Vivian’s lively explanations made the visit 100% worthwhile.

We had a great tour around the distillery led by Vivienne who was really entertaining. The tasting afterwards was really enjoyable and helped our whole group get a better understanding of the whisky

What a fantastic tour of one of Scotland's Finest Distilleries. We had a blast from start to finish. Jennifer, our Tour Guide was super knowledgeable, personable and accommodating for the duration of our visit. The chocolates paired perfectly with Glengoyne's delicious whiskey. I highly recommend you tour the Glengoyne Distillery during your stay in Scotland. The trip up from Glasgow was quick and easy, not to mention gorgeous scenery through the country side.
