Totally unique experience offered with this trip.
Take off and climb away using our 80hp Rotax engine and upon reaching 1 mile above sea level we will slowly reduce power and allow the engine to gently cool down. After about a minute of cooling we will stop the engine completely and become a proper glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. This should give us 15-20 minutes of silent engineless flight or more if we can find some thermals and go soaring with the birds.

What To Expect
Climb up to a height of one mile above the beautiful Devonshire countryside, on reaching this height we will stop the engine and peacefully glide back down to earth. During this experience you will be able to receive some instruction from our fully qualified instructor and take control yourself if you wish. This is a truly unique experience which only a motorglider can comfortably offer.

5.00The weather caused a few problems but patience paid off for a clear day and good weather conditions. Everything was well explained to me about the plane following standard procedures. The pilot was very experienced creating a secure and pleasant environment. Once in the air we traveled towards the coast. I was then offered to opportunity to take control with guidance. This was an amazing experience keeping the plane altitude constant using the horizon. Then doing a figure of eight before the pilot took over for the landing.
