What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
Head to Thingvellir National Park, where you learn about how it lies within a volcanically active area. It's also home to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Straddle two continents while you walk between the plates.
Laugarvatn
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!

5.00A perfect day. Timing of stops perfect. Guide very informative and knowledgeable. My highlight was the rye bread and egg cooked underground as well as Hvammsik hot springs.

5.00What a great trip to see some of Icelands best sights. Lots of interesting commentary from the driver throughout. Extinct volcanic craters, geyser, waterfalls, geothermal park and all on the tour. The highlight though was Hvammsvik geothermal pools, a 2 hour stop that will last in my memory for a long time. Don't forget to have a quick dip in the ocean as well!

5.00Never a dull moment with Adi as your guide. He'll fill your journey with stories and jokes, plus an excellent playlist you wished the tour would never end. Not the usual point to point day trips you get with some other established guided tour companies, this is NICE!

5.00A well organised and really enjoyable tour with an excellent guide (Christina) who looked after and entertained us very well. So glad spikes were provided for us to borrow for our boots as this made navigating the icy paths much easier. Highly recommended.

Towards the evening, the weather started to get rough with heavy winds and icy conditions but kudos to Walter for driving so well. thank you keeping us safe the whole time.

5.00It was our first excursion in Iceland, and we really enjoyed both our guide and driver! She picked us up right on time at Bus Stop 6, just two minutes from our hotel very easy to find. She shared lots of fun little anecdotes throughout the day, which made the experience both interesting and entertaining. The weather was quite unpredictable, but she adapted the itinerary so we could see everything. The sites were absolutely stunning, and the bread break was a delicious little treat we truly appreciated! Just as she promised at the beginning of the tour : it was truly exhilarating.
