Had a great one day tour of the major Golden Circle sights with Bjarni, who we thought was one of the best guides we have used during many years of travelling. Communication prior to our arrival was easy and this allowed us to arrange an itinerary that met our requirements. On the road Bjarni proved to be a very good & safe driver who kept us entertained with lots of information about Iceland’s history and culture, plus many folklore stories – he’s a natural storyteller and very engaging. One of the things we liked about Bjarni was his flexibility with the programme and timings, particularly on the day. He is also such a laid back and easy going character that we were able to sit back and enjoy the sights and the day just flew by.

We had an incredible experience with Bjarni! As a local Icelander, he was a wealth of knowledge — informative, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing Iceland’s history, culture, and hidden gems. He was so easy to get along with, and his storytelling made the entire Golden Circle tour unforgettable. He took us to so many amazing places, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed the day so much that we immediately booked another tour with him the very next day — the Northern Lights tour — which was just as fantastic. Bjarni truly made our trip special. Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Iceland!

Bjanari was a fantastic guide for the Golden Circle. He is incredibly knowledgable about Iceland and shared so much information, from geology, to history, to personal anecdotes. On top of that, he's a phenomanal storyteller. (This was my third trip to Iceland, and he kept me engaged and curious the entire day). He also was flexible as we shifted our plans from an airport pickup on arrival day to hotel pickup on a different day, and promptly refunded the difference in the cost. He was a careful driver, calm, and just a joy to be around. Our tour with Bjanari was a highlight of our six day trip. Cannot recommend him more highly.
