All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

In order to visit Alcatraz, you must choose the Alcatraz Option. If you do not select the Alcatraz option, we will not be able to provide admission for you to Alcatraz.
Our ticket availability for Alcatraz visits is limited, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide any extra accommodations. If the Alcatraz option is not available, it means that all tickets have been sold out.

Boasting the largest Chinatown in the United States, this 24-block mecca is bustling with energy, amazing food, and unique and colorful shops that give this area its charm.

Day Tour + Alcatraz Admission
Official Alactraz Tour : After the "SF-Woods-Sausalito" part of the tour, you will be dropped off at Alcatraz Landing where you will catch the ferry.
Duration: 3 hours: The Alcatraz Audio tour is around 90 minutes, you have an option to stay longer or take the ferry back.
Alcatraz Ferry: You will take a ferry to and from Alcatraz Island.

Shoutout to our tour guide Brendan, he was awesome, such a character and he made our trip so much fun! SF Excursions should be the only company you choose to book a tour to see the main attractions San Francisco. If we could give it 10 stars we would!!

5.00It was a really great tour. They were very accommodating in regards to third party tickets. Per was very informative and enthusiastic and energetic the whole trip. It’s a more intimate tour. We took it it the last day of our trip, but would recommend to do it the first day to get an idea of whether to do the rest of your trip.

5.00Fantastic tour with loads of information about SF! Per was my guide and he was excellent! Helpful and knowledgeable and friendly! This tour was comfortable and just the right amount of time. I was able to explore at Muir Woods National Forest and Salsilido. We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge and The Palace of Fine Arts as well as Lyon Street Steps in Pacific Heights. Great tour for a Solo traveler!
