Grand Turk was the third port of call for my Carnival Celebration cruise. Between the excitement of the entertainment on board and trip itself, I scrambled to figure out what excursion I wanted to do, the night before reaching Grand Turk. After watching a few videos and learning about renting a golf cart to “explore” the island, I stumbled upon this company. Once getting off the ship, my party and I exited the cruise port and started walking towards the left hand side where a number of golf cart rental companies are located. You will need to go through the parking lot at the port before reaching a narrow gateway that leads to the area where the golf carts are. There were also locals close by that helped direct us while en route. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Wally who presented me with a document to sign and date to secure my rental. He made the check in process very easy and was EXTREMELY accommodating. He provided a map and circled a few “highlighted” attractions on the island. Returning the rental was easy. We paid $10 for gas upon returning the cart and that was it! I would definitely book with this company again and I am already planning a return to Grand Turk because the few hours I was there just wasn’t enough to experience the beautiful island (:

Getting the cart was a fairly long walk past carts available within the airport. Also, there was no information provided that the cart could not enter the airport grounds, eg to pick up others in a party. This is a problem if someone in a party cannot walk far. Also, the cart offered was very poor quality.

The cart that we got was older but it ran perfectly and we had no issues. The customer service was geat. This is a great way to see the island.

Paradise golf carts was fairly easy to find. Wally gave us a map and a number to call if we had any trouble. The cart itself only rates one star. We were told just to keep the gas pedal pushed down to make it go. Honestly, that’s all we could do… the cart stalled if the gas pedal was released the slightest. It stalled in street intersections, parking lots, etc. we were able to get to the lighthouse, but returned it early. When we dropped it off it stalled again in the middle of the road and it would not start again. Thank goodness we were close enough to walk back to the cruise port.

Our golf cart did not have great acceleration. We almost ran out of gas. Our attendant when we returned was not concerned about our complaints. BUT it was fun cruising around the island in a golf cart.

It was a bit far from the boat, outside the terminal. We may have chosen a service closer if it was stated clearly that it was that far away. However, the guy that helped us get situated with the cart was pleasant and informative. The cart ran dependably and was in good condition. We recommend, with the note that in 100+ deg F, the walk was difficult.

I rented and paid a $40 deposit for a golf cart in Grand Turk and we found ourselves in a crazy misadventure. At the exit of the port (I was on a cruise) there was no one, it took an hour of phone calls from local operators of good will, for someone to arrive. They picked us up with a golf cart and delivered ours to a place not far from the port, but deserted, without asking for documents, without signing anything, without a reference office. The golf cart was in very bad condition, but it was the only chance anyway. After an hour it started to smoke and stopped permanently at the bottom of a dirt descent. The number we had on the e-mail wasn't answered by anyone. We were lucky, because we were close to a house, whose owner, Erin, together with Cathy, a local lady, gave us valuable help, assisting us as best as possible and making a thousand phone rounds, to get to warn our rental. After a while they arrived and brought us a replacement golf cart, also broken down, so we went back to the port, worried about being broken down a second time. If it wasn't for those lovely ladies, we'd still be there and it was a day to forget anyway. To avoid Grand Turk Golf Cart.

Good experience. James was very professional and helpful. Highly recommend. Golf cart was in good shape. I preferred it instead of a car.

Easy rental with great service, Wally is very friendly and helpful, The golf cart location is right outside the gates to the port. Wally provides a map and answers all the questions you may have on where to go and what to see.
