This tour is a great option for you, if you are visiting Budapest for the first time. Let us help you discover the most stunning attractions of both the Buda and Pest sides in 7 hours by walking, so you can definitely see as much as possible.
During the tour we'll use public transportation occasionally and include a lunch break, too.
Itinerary: On the Pest side we’ll take you to Heroes' square, and the City Park to show you the famous Széchenyi Baths and a fairytale castle. On the Andrássy Avenue we'll walk to the State Opera House, and the St. Stephen’s Basilica, Budapest's largest Catholic church. In the Jewish quarter we pass by the Great Synagogue.
We'll also reach the Parliament Building, the city's most emblematic sight.
On the historic Buda side we’ll show you around the Castle Garden Bazaar, the Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the spectacular Matthias Church. Along the cobblestone streets and romantic medieval houses, you'll be taken on a time travel experience.

5.00Katalin was excellent. A 3 hr. walking Tour. She tailored our tour to not replicate the excursions already booked on the upcoming riverboat cruise. She was very knowledgeable and dove into Hungarian history beginnings to present during our walk relating buildings and monuments to the times.

Katalin and her guides will fill you with history and stories about this old city, the surrounding area, its history and beauty. Don't hesitate to travel to Eger, Szendrei, or take the Grand Budapest Tour. We western citizens know so little about eastern Europe. 5.00We always book a guide when we travel to get a better inside view of a city and it was a amazing and above our expectation. Our tour guide Katalin is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and makes history easy and fun. Katalin put together a beautiful walk along all the highlight in response to our wishes. She does this in an easy going and adequate manner, with a dose of humor, where there's space for questions. Her pace is perfect and enjoyable. Her interaction is fantastic and she is also interested in her guests. We highly recommend Katalin, it was lovely and fantastic!!!

5.00Katalin is an excellent guide with a masterful knowledge of this grand city. She is able to provide indepth historical information. If you need adivce about any aspect of the city, she knows all the details. Ask her about a restaurant or a place to stay, and she can give you advice. We recommend Katalin for large or small groups, children as well as adults. She can take you to exhibits for children that adults can also enjoy. We are thankful for our experience with Katalin and gained a better understanding of the beautiful Budapest. .

5.00We hired a private tour with Zsuzsanna from budapestwonderguides.com and it was the best money invested. He came to pick us up at the hotel where we were staying and asked us what we wanted to see because according to taste, he focuses the tour. The tour is 3 hours in which she told us a lot of anecdotes of the sites we were seeing with her. Besides, he showed us places that in the guides do not come and advised us places to visit. Attentive and friendly at all times. Besides, we had doubts about where to get money and he accompanied us to the bank so we had no problems understanding each other. Without a doubt, it is a guide of 10!!
