The Great Pyramid of Khufu

The Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza — and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Built over 4,500 years ago using more than 2 million limestone blocks, it’s a masterpiece of engineering and ancient ambition. Standing at 146 meters when it was first completed, it held the record as the tallest human-made structure for over 3,800 years. A true marvel that leaves every visitor speechless.

We hired a driver for the day in Cairo. It was great. We had our own schedule and we got to do exactly what we wanted, which was to revisit some sites and hike. Saeed was very professional and punctual. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Thank you so much.

Definitely more than I thought It all depends on the driver in my case my driver Mustapha was excellent in fact I asked for him again and this was the second time I used him I did not use a guide No the time given was up to me and I had ample time in fact I finished each stop before the allotted time As mentioned earlier it was the driver who gave me the option of amount of time I needed and did mot push me for time Excellent I was free of any tension Choosing my own time and the stops that I wanted The favorite was the mosques that I visited in Al Khalil I square which I think was old Cairo

This was our first time in Egypt, and we had a great experience with our guide, Salma. Although we were informed that the trip itinerary had changed to a different museum after booking — because the Grand Egyptian Museum was closed during its grand opening — everything still went very smoothly. Salma was very nice and helpful. She shared fascinating stories about each pyramid and took amazing photos for us.

We went to visit with Toha and, honestly, it was one of the best experiences. He is a boy who can be spoken to in Spanish and the care is excellent. Not only did we enjoy the cultural visit, but we were also left with many doubts about the local culture. Really, 100% recommended: I loved it. Big thanks to Viator to arrange a short noticed trip for us with a wonderful guide Mariam and a fabulous driver Islam. Islam was a reliable driver. It was a wonderful experience visiting Giza pyramids and sphinx. It was worth go inside the pyramid. This was one of our life time experiences. Egyptian civilisation museum was amazing. Papyrus paper experience was wonderful. Mariam was guiding and looking after us like being with a sister. Our son also loved Mariam’s presence. Mariam has exceptional ethics and morals. We wish to meet her again.
