I went on a Tour (The grand tour of Copenhagen) with Wayne from Copenhagen Free Walking Tours. You can book them also directly. The tor was approximately 2,5 hours long. It was quite a long tour, but very interesting the whole time. I can recommend this tour.

I would highly recommend Free Tours! My sister and I chose the Grand Tour of Copenhagen as it was our first time in the city, and I couldn't recommend it enough. We saw a lot of the city's highlights, and our guide Wayne was excellent in his knowledge on the tour. I learned a wide variety of information as the tour included history, cultural knowledge, learning some Danish words and information on the royal family. We had a great time!

We did the Classical Tour with Laura and the Grand Tour with Jacob. We had the best time with both. Both guides were so informative and engaging and we learned so much about Copenhagen. Both of these trips are a must do when visiting Copenhagen. You cover so many of the key buildings, areas and events in Copenhagen history. Thank you Laura and Jacob! My wife and I really enjoyed our time spent on these tours.

Wayne was such a great tour guide! He has such a passion for the city that shone through, and was incredibly skilled at handling such a large group.

Had a wonderful time on this walking tour a few weeks ago! It was easy to find the meeting point for the tour, given the bright green umbrellas on the City Hall steps (see attached pic). We hadn't made a reservation since we weren't sure how jet lag would be affecting us, but the greeter was very welcoming and added the four of us to the English-speaking tour (it probably helped that we arrived 10-15 mins early). Weather was very nice and comfortable temps. Our tour guide, Wayne (I believe was his name), was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He walked us through many key spots around the city, provided lots of interesting points about the local history, architecture, and language, and helped us see things we never would have noticed otherwise! Such a beautiful city, hard to take it all in without some guidance. At the end of the tour, he pointed out a cute little establishment where we could get locally-sourced snacks, drinks, and trinkets, which I really appreciated since so many souvenir shops are just full of items made elsewhere. All in all a fabulous day exploring Copenhagen, highly recommend!

This was a wonderful tour! I learned so much and felt like I got a really good understanding of Copenhagen's history and modern culture. I appreciated the guide's recommendations, as well. I went back for another Copenhagen Free Walking Tour the next day!

Super fun and learned a lot about the history of Copenhagen! The tour was the perfect amount of time with a 15 minute break in the middle. Our tour guide Jack was knowledgeable and extremely kind.

After a morning of travel, and dropping our bags at our hotel, we headed out to explore the city of Copehagen. And met up with our free (tip-based) English-language walking tour group in from of the City Hall. Our tour guide Martin provided some historical context as well as the current way of life in this small country as we walked about the city to see government buildings, the shopping district, the Nyhavn canal, Christiansborg Palace, Thorvaldsmuseum, Amalienborg, Frederiks Kirche, and many other sites. The Grand Tour of Copenhagen walking tour is a very nice way to get acquainted with Copenhagen!

A great morning spent on a relaxed and informative walking tour. We learnt a lot about Danish history, culture and current affairs from Martin, and loved his entertaining style of delivery.
